Hazard 56 Williamsburg 18
#1
Final.

Interested to see Hazard compete with Raceland again. Rams are the better team but Hazard isn’t bad and I thought they really underperformed first game.

Hazard lead Corbin , at Corbin, at halftime. They're not chopped liver. Raceland better be ready.

That’s a fair assessment. I concur

It is. Hazards got a good team. Play very solid defense for the most part and offense is clicking pretty well even though they lost Johnson. I don’t think there’s much question to who’s the best football team in Perry county. Perry people using the excuse of hazard plays a soft schedule is why they’re winning. They’d better take a real close look before making those bold statements.

Wow Hazard came to play. They seem to be clicking at the right time.

It’s funny that you mention this. I remember seeing it all over Facebook back in September about how all the Perry coaches wanted to bring back the black gold bowl against hazard, and if it was up to them it would’ve already been happening. From what I’m hearing through the grapevine, they’re about to experience a big time shake up and are going to be losing some very key pieces next season. Probably need to worry about keeping a program together more than winning a game that you’re going to get running clocked in.

Didn't they play similar schedule. Both played Breathitt, Corbin, Martin, Letcher, and Williamsburg. Then add Raceland and Pikeville to Hazard's schedule. Not sure I would say they played a weak schedule.

I wouldn’t either but hazards team is the talk of the town right now and like with anything else, Perry staff and fans hate seeing any success anywhere else other than them. It’s there scapegoat. They only win games because they play a “weak schedule.”
