Best game of the week in 1A. Hazard should win but it’s on the road and Williamsburg is improved. I expect Burg to put up a great effort. Still not enough as Hazard marches on to get a rematch at Raceland which will be closer than the first game but their season still ends in Ramland next week.

If however, Burg pulls this out, Rams will be foaming at the mouth to get a gimpy Pikeville team at home.

Have any of you all checked out Williamsburg schedule? It’s not like they’ve played a tough one. I’m taking hazard with or without Johnson and winning it easy.

Think Hazard is the better team and 100% correct that Williamsburg hasn’t played a challenging schedule but they are a decent team and can win if Hazard doesn’t show up. Johnson being out hurts obviously because of his production but they only had a week to figure out who all those touches go to. I think one of their other pass catchers/DBs had a hand injury and he only played defense against Pikeville with a cast on one side. Not sure if he’s healthy yet either.

Hazard should enjoy this win if they can get it because they are likely going to be on the wrong side of a beat down next Friday in Ramland especially if Johnson is indeed out for the season
