I’m not big on trashing people (cough cough)
But, how in gods name is Wayne Mills the coach of the year in the district. Lost to clay at home, 4th in the district. Last year they were 3rd. Like am i missing an important tid bit here?? I guess he voted for himself in this poll about 90 times?
I’ve showed my doubts in Clays coaching, but that coach deserves this award more than wayne. Or better yet, the man who won the district???

in district 8, the 4 seed got coach of the year and the poy had 39 yards against the district champ....... alright then lol

Im told KFCA membership is at an all time low. Remember that your head coach must be a member to even be eligible for these awards.

That plays a large part into this.

So it’s like me starting a club, and giving out an award every year to the “worlds sexiest man”, but i’m the only one in the club. Sounds like a great idea.

The real goal is a state championship so the focus should be that!

I was wondering the same thing about district 2 COY. I’m surprised that Griffin or Stonebraker didn’t get the nod.

Wayne Mills is the laughing stock of of HS football. He really builds and turns programs around. ???
