Here's a thread to discuss the numbers when the vote count starts coming in on Tuesday evening. I am an election night nerd.  Always have been. I watched the returns every four years with my grandparents , beginning when I was just a kid of 10. That was Nixon/McGovern. That one didn't go the way I wanted. Even as a kid I could see Nixon was a crook who was headed for trouble. To this day,  I still gobble  up election returns like a disciple gobbled up bread at the Last Supper  .   What are you gonna be doing on Election Night? I've already purchased two pounds of cheese and six bottles of wine, and made an appt. with my psychiatrist on Monday. By the time the evening is done on Tuesday, I'll be loaded with booze, extra sharp cheddar  , a plethora of serotonin inhibitors, and a perpetual pyroclastic flow of unmitigated hate. When the clock strikes midnight, I won't be able to pontificate, assimilate, punctuate, or defecate.

I hope I survive election night so I will be able to witness our first female chief executive. History is in the making. Join me here Tuesday night , as I get drunker and more constipated as the night goes on. In the very unlikely event that Trump pulls off an upset, you might get to witness a meltdown for the ages, right here on BGR. I remember years ago.  We'd sit in the living room at mom and dad's.  We'd have a single dim light bulb burning.  Tuned into the local radio station.  Listening as the results come in.  That was around the time we only got 3 TV stations.  Occasionally we got four if the weather was right!

Now election coverage is all day and carries into the next day.  Like watching the Super Bowl,  coverage all day.  Which really,  election coverage has already been going on for awhile now. 

OSH,  although we are on different sides this election,  you'd still be a cool guy to watch election coverage with    If Trump wins I'd be there to try and calm you during the melt down! If Harris wins,  you won't have to worry about me melting down.  I'll just grab a couple of lanterns and head out fishing 

I've not voted yet,  I always look forward to heading to the polls.  For such a monumental historical event,  as a election,  I wished they gave something more than a sticker,  that says I voted lol !  I'm probably one of the few who actually saves those things as souvenirs.

There was a old oil well on my one Papaws place,  when I was growing up.  It'd not been in operation for years.  After several more years there was some work done on it,  got to pumping again.  Didn't pump much oil,  just a few barrels here and there.  It was neat to see though. 

There were several old oil wells like that in the surrounding area.  Guess that's maybe why they named the place oil springs,  a fitting name lol

I remember years ago.  We'd sit in the living room at mom and dad's.  We'd have a single dim light bulb burning.  Tuned into the local radio station.  Listening as the results come in.  That was around the time we only got 3 TV stations.  Occasionally we got four if the weather was right!

Now election coverage is all day and carries into the next day.  Like watching the Super Bowl,  coverage all day.  Which really,  election coverage has already been going on for awhile now. 

OSH,  although we are on different sides this election,  you'd still be a cool guy to watch election coverage with  ;)  If Trump wins I'd be there to try and calm you during the melt down! If Harris wins,  you won't have to worry about me melting down.  I'll just grab a couple of lanterns and head out fishing  :)

I've not voted yet,  I always look forward to heading to the polls.  For such a monumental historical event,  as a election,  I wished they gave something more than a sticker,  that says I voted lol !  I'm probably one of the few who actually saves those things as souvenirs.

Here's a thread to discuss the numbers when the vote count starts coming in on Tuesday evening. I am an election night nerd.  Always have been. I watched the returns every four years with my grandparents , beginning when I was just a kid of 10. That was Nixon/McGovern. That one didn't go the way I wanted. Even as a kid I could see Nixon was a crook who was headed for trouble. To this day,  I still gobble  up election returns like a disciple gobbled up bread at the Last Supper  .   What are you gonna be doing on Election Night? I hope you will join me here in this thread to talk about the returns.

I've already purchased two pounds of cheese and six bottles of wine, and made an appt. with my psychiatrist on Monday. By the time the evening is done on Tuesday, I'll be loaded with booze, extra sharp cheddar  , a plethora of serotonin inhibitors, and a perpetual pyroclastic flow of unmitigated hate. When the clock strikes midnight, I won't be able to pontificate, assimilate, punctuate, or defecate.

I hope I survive election night so I will be able to witness our first female chief executive. History is in the making. Join me here Tuesday night , as I get drunker and more constipated as the night goes on. In the very unlikely event that Trump pulls off an upset, you might get to witness a meltdown for the ages, right here on BGR. I will have plenty of meds handy to help mitigate a potential crisis event.

Explain to our BGR readers why you voted for a man who sexually assaults women and brags about it. Tell our readers how they should explain that to their daughters. Tell us why a man who clearly thinks more of Putin than he did , American hero, John McCain, is good for America. Tell us those things without mentioning Biden or Harris .  Tell us what we are to say to our grandchildren in 20 years when their air , water, and food has been poisoned by Orange cult leader's deregulation and demolition of the EPA and FDA. How can our kids and grandkids still respect us the morning after we've cast a vote for a coward who attempted a coup at the nation's Capitol? Tell us all of that, friend. 

BRG friends, Trump is gonna win KY easily but is going to lose the nation, probably by millions of votes and fairly comfortably in the Electoral College. The Mango Mussolini doesn't need your vote here in KY. You still have time to be on the right side of history. If you can't stomach a vote for the next president(Harris), then write in your candidate of choice. Trump has done a plethora of things that should be disqualifying for any patriotic American citizen. Years from now when your grandchild asks you, "Papaw/Mamaw, why did you vote for a rapist, a man who makes fun of the disabled, a man who had a long history of being a bigot and a racist?," how will you respond?
