Record Oil and Gas Production
#31
Growing up and living here has almost,  always been peaceful.  Living in the head of a holler that forks at the end,  then a pretty good ways up another holler. Lol

Then awhile back,  guys wearing suites and ties and other fancy clothes,  begin showing up at our place.  Wanting our family to lease our land to them. So much money per acre.  They were trying to lease our land,  for the gas rights.

If you've ever watched that movie,  Second Hand Lion,  those two older guys.  They didn't want any sales people or anyone like that on their land.  Once a salesperson showed up,  they got outta there pretty quick!

That's kinda what the people wanting to lease our land, was up against! We did have several meetings with them,  we listened to their pitches.  Ultimately,  we decided against leasing to them.  Many people around here,  did lease to them.

There's a gas well a few miles down the main road from our holler.  They drilled it,  and it's still pumping as far as I know.

They drilled another gas well a few miles,  going the other way on the main road.  Spending a ton of time,  Man power,  and money to do so.  They never pumped from it the first time.  It's supposed to be sealed and capped off.

It wasn't a busted effort either.  They hit gas,  supposedly big time.  From what we hear,  supposed to have tapped into the biggest gas pocket this side of the Mississippi.

No that's just hear say. I can't say for certain it's true.  This side of the Mississippi,  you hear about a lot of things!

I do know a guy who worked on that well.  He said it was a big gas strike.  Couldn't provide a reason as to why,  it'd never been pumped from.

This happened under either the Trump or Obama administration.  It's been awhile,  so I can't remember who president was.

Just a peaceful area,  with little traffic.  Most people minds their own business.  Then here comes the big company and corporation reps. Then tons of equipment!

I support the gas,  oil,  and coal industries.  The jobs that they create.  Leasing our land for this,  just didn't seem right.  That's why  we turned them down.

If I was a betting man, I would say they more than likely they tapped into your gas and oil or at least some of it.
The oil and gas boom started under the Bush jr administration. When they came up with the fracking in all different directions and putting, I think sonar on front of trucks where they could find the oil and gas pockets.
I remember when T Boon Pickens was on every TV stations telling people to invest in natural gas he seen what was comming down the road.

Effects of COVID-19 on Transportation Personnel
High COVID-19 infection rates among port workers negatively impacted port operations, which decreased the amount of cargo that could move to and from ships.[26] Consequently, ports became bottlenecks with shipping container backlogs that delayed loading and offloading merchandise. Updated health policies and working conditions also may have decreased port productivity. Moreover, labor shortages impacted global supply chains.[27] For example, onshore transportation systems (including rail and trucks) faced labor shortages that delayed the availability of goods and increased costs.[28]
The COVID-19 pandemic further disrupted the flow of goods by halting international travel for maritime workers and increasing maritime personnel costs. As the COVID-19 outbreak became a global pandemic, many governments imposed travel restrictions and certain quarantine procedures that reduced labor mobility in the maritime sector.[29] The International Labour Organization estimated that 800,000 seafarers were unable to embark on or disembark from their vessels in 2020.[30] Starting in May 2020, this problem abated as several countries allowed firms to charter flights in pre-approved “safe transit corridors” to allow seafarers to travel from their home countries to select ports in order to relieve other seafarers.[31] These and other factors increased labor expenses, particularly hardship pay to compensate workers stranded on vessels, higher travel costs to reposition workers, and COVID-19 testing and quarantine expenses.[32] One source estimated that the higher labor-related expenses caused maritime personnel costs to rise 6.2 percent in 2020.[33]

Here is the same link in my last post which you either overlooked or it didn't fit your argument Einstein.

vector, you should give up now and admit that the Harris-Biden administration deserves zero credit for record oil and gas production because doing so is the honest and right thing to do. The point that you are actually making with this thread is that the Harris-Biden administration has failed miserably in this area because their stated goal, which is well known to everybody else on the planet, is to reduce the nation's reliance on fossil fuels. You cannot turn an abject policy failure into a success, in the face of all that Harris-Biden have done to make it more difficult for oil and gas companies to deliver affordable energy to their customers.

I will let you ramble on without direction for a while longer, but if you persist to spin record oil and gas production as a Kamala Harris triumph, you are going to be embarrassed - or at least you would be embarrassed if you could understand the facts that I am prepared to deliver. Throw in the towel now and avoid an embarrassing beat-down by those facts. You will not be able to say that you were not warned.  Cool

Then explain why we are the WORLDS #1 oil and gas producers after almost 4 years of the Biden and Harris administration.
Seems to me oil and gas production should of dropped at the very least some if as you are claiming they are against it.

You created this thread and you are the one who should demonstrate why Kamala Harris deserves any credit for oil and gas production increasing since the pandemic. As I said, I am giving you more line before I set the hook. There is still time for you to raise the white flag and admit that Harris had nothing to do with increasing oil and gas production. Here is a hint. Harris and Biden's goal was the opposite of increased production and reliance on fossil fuels.

You are trying to make the case that Harris and Biden deliberately broke a campaign promise but you are not bright enough to realize what you are doing. Keep running with the line while I chill and watch entertaining Youtube videos of Kamala bloopers.

Because we are producing more oil and gas in this country EVER even more than your boy Trump did don't know else to explain it. The results should be enough since YOU claim they are against fossil fuel. Now how do you sleep at night knowing you helped coal operators cheat on their dust pumps Hoot.
