I'm wondering how many times Joe Biden(& his Crime Family), Kamala Harris, and Hillary Clinton will be mentioned in this thread. Give me a dollar for each time one of those is mentioned and I'll retire comfortably. LOL
What do you think MAGA Nuts, do you think we should see the evidence against Tangerine Man?

Hoot and a lot of the other Bootlickers on this site have claimed the Biden and Harris administration are against fossil fuel when in FACT the oil and gas industries are breaking production records. They are for an ALL-ENERGY POLICY. Unlike in 2020 when over 108 oil companies filed bankruptcy under Trump.

While Trump was begging OPEC and the Putin to stop drilling so much oil and gas.

Trump likes bankruptcies . Six of them , to date, I believe. Yet people still think he is a good businessman. If a good businessman is someone who doesn't pay his bills, then he's great.

Lots of good Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean restaurants nearby too.
As for enforcing lifetime bans, I think everybody deserves a second chance if they are willing to try harder not to be a nuisance. Moderators enforce bans and I have no desire to be a moderator. I just made a prediction. I can't even be certain that Maga Nuts is the reincarnation of vector, but if he isn't, then somebody is doing a great job impersonating him. Why do you want to make me cry? :)

I think every decent law-abiding American voter should see how deep involved Trump was in his attempt to stay in power.

Everything should be out in the open so that the voters can see the evidence and decide for themselves. Otherwise Trump will continue to dodge justice until he either loses all his marbles or passes away.

Aside from attempting to influence an election, a judge that releases evidence prior to a trial risks injecting bias into the potential pool of jurors. If you or a family member were charged with a crime, would you want the judge turning your trial into a circus and attempting to influence jurors before the trial even began?

The federal government, during George H. W. Bush's term of office, used its limitless resources to coerce plea deals from small coal mine operators by threatening to take legal action against their family members. Many small operators had their mothers, fathers, and other family members listed as corporate officers, when in fact those people had nothing to do with the daily operations of the mines. When a corporation is formed, the owner must provide a list of officers for the corporation.
Large corporations could afford the lawyers necessary to fight the Bush administration, but lawfare can quickly bankrupt small mining companies. To avoid bankrupting the family, many operators who were involved in daily mining operations pled guilty and had their mine foreman licenses suspended to avoid having the federal government bankrupt their families. That is how federal law enforcement works, no matter which party controls the executive branch of the federal government. If they can bankrupt a defendant, then there is no need to prove criminal cases beyond reasonable doubt. They take coerced plea agreements to the media and declare that justice was done.
That is how dimwit politicians like Kamala Harris manage to use political positions such as District Attorney to launch political careers. That was not enough, in Kamala's case - she resorted to exchanging sexual favors for Williey Brown's influence to launch her career.

"I worked closely with attorneys when I worked in the coal industry"
If it was about falsifying dust pump, I don't see how you can sleep at night.
Trump has the right to appeal his case, and I say he probably already has but I don't believe the judge is that dumb like you claim she is.
By the way how do you sleep at night knowing you helped the coal operators cheat on their dust pumps.
If you were actually familiar with what happened during that period, the you would know that the Secretary of Labor fancied herself as a future presidential candidate and tried to use guilty pleas to advance her political career. You would also know that most of the guilty pleas were made in exchange for very light sentences, including one-year suspensions for mine foreman licenses.
Now, I am giving you the choice of rescinding and apologizing for falsely accusing me of helping coal operators "cheat on their dust pumps," or I will report you for a rules violation. You are not going to sneak back into this forum following a lifetime ban and accuse me of committing federal crimes without being reported. Now, convince me that you regret using such poor judgment. The clock is ticking...5:00, 4:59, 4:58,....

I think there are people who take message boards and what is said on them way too seriously. Everyone is anonymous here. Old School doesn't care less what people say about me or accuse me of. I'm here for the sh!ts & giggles.

Gentlemen, the arguing and trolling and sharp remarks back and forth are getting a little too much.
Please simmer down a little bit. I've already closed one thread and issued warnings. I don't want to have to shut down more.

Yes, in general people are anonymous, but most people also have friends and acquaintances online to whom they are not anonymous. When I requested that the lifetime ban that I had requested be lifted, I agreed to make a better effort to follow the rules.
It is tempting to engage in retaliatory name calling, but I am making an effort to stay on topic and making a good faith effort to follow the rules. I don't enjoy tightly moderated political forums, but I also don't enjoy forums in which members are free to personally attack people without limits. Moderators walk a fine line, and I don't want to make things any tougher on them.
At the end of the day, my enjoyment of exchanging third-grade level insults with people ended when I was promoted to the fourth grade.

Who promoted you to fourth grade? I want the teacher's name, Hoot! ( Just kidding you, Hoot! lol) Mrs Gray promoted me to fourth grade. Fourth grade was the worst grade of my life. Teacher was mean as could be.
I enjoy good political discussions and like hearing diverse views that challenge my own. But a debate hall is the best venue for something like that. I honestly don't know what is really accomplished, though, by debating and arguing on message boards. No one's mind is likely to change any at all. It just ends up being a bunch of senseless arguing , trolling, hijacking of thread topics and people getting their feelings hurt. I've been guilty of some of that, at times. Not much is really accomplished at the end of the day. I'm here to entertain folks and be entertained by others. You're a very smart guy, Mr. Gibson. I disagree with you a lot more than I agree with you but I can respect your intellect and your desire for an honest discussion of issues.

I don't think anything is accomplished in online political forums. The best thing that happens from time to time is that somebody posts something that forces you to see an issue from another perspective. I had a very good friend in college who was an Iranian who fled Iran and had to leave his family behind when the Muslim terrorists overthrew the Shah. I can still remember how he opened my eyes to the wastefulness and ineffectiveness of American foreign aid.
Our late nights drinking shots of tequila and discussing politics never changed any of my voting decisions, but hearing first hand about tractors bought by American taxpayers rusting away in the middle of Iranian fields because of the inability of farmers to get parts to repair their tractors was a lesson that I will never forget. The worse thing about the tractor story was that many farmers had sold their plough horses when they received their shiny new tractors. Many farmers were left with no means to work their fields except their own hands and they blamed the U.S. for their situation.
Very little has changed since my college days at UK. When I hear that Joe Biden is threatening to withhold military aid from Israel until Israel sends "humanitarian aid" to Gaza, with the knowledge that Gaza is ruled by the same Hamas terrorists that launch rockets into Israel and slaughter innocent Israelis in unprovoked attacks, it makes my blood boil. I hope that this country is never in the position of having to cave to such blatant attempts of extortion. Both parties are responsible for Israel not being at peace with its neighbors.
Whether you were a fan or Rush Limbaugh or not, he was right when he said that wars do not end until one side wins and the other side surrenders. Aiding both sides in a war may fill the pockets of defense contractors and politicians, but that policy does nothing to bring about peace. American taxpayers have been funding a stalemate in the Middle East since the late 60s.
