Pulaski County 42 North Laurel 14
#1
Final.
#2
Pulaski County is the most disrespected team in the mountains. I think they give anyone in the mountain top 5 a run if not beat them. Especially outside of Corbin.

Pulaski should be #2 in the mountains from here on out. Can’t believe it took them a few weeks to even be in the top 10 on WYMT.

Pulaski County is the REAL deal, they are one of the hardest-hitting teams we have seen play
this season. They are big and strong in important positions. They should be #2, no doubt
about it. NL with all their struggles and injuries may or may not come on toward the end
remains to be seen. They have some good players on that team - not making excuses but
they have some key players hurt, we noticed one of the RBs was out, plus they are young.
There has been a bit of a dust-up we were told and some quit - at this point that happens
a team always has to readjust. Plus the couple we sat by said a couple of young guys are
having to step up and be leaders now, trying to do it all, and as everyone knows it takes a
team effort to win football games. They have to regroup to be effective.

I absolutely agree with you. And I'll add this.  Pulaski ABSOLUTELY can win at Corbin!

I agree, they are a top tier team and should make a deep playoff run. I think the game with Corbin will be a dandy and great work for both teams heading into the playoffs.

I agree that Pulaski County has been overlooked. They should be #2 in the Mountain Top Ten setting up a showdown at #1 Corbin.

Im trying to figure out why you guys thing Pulaski Co is being disrespected?

They have 3 losses, 2 of them are to average teams in their class and games they should have won.

Lets look at the 5A Rankings
Class 5A

1. Bowling Green (6-1)
2. Cooper (7-0)
3. Highlands (5-2)
4. South Warren (5-1)
5. South Oldham (6-1)
6. Owensboro (4-3)
7. Scott County (4-3)
8. Woodford County (5-1)
9. Conner (5-2)
10. Pulaski County (3-3)

I would say Pulaski should be ahead of Conner, I think they beat them if played, but other than that, there isnt one team above that that I say, Yeah Pulaski beats them for sure.

Lets look at Mountain Rankings
1. Corbin (5-1)
2. Johnson Central (5-2)
3. Belfry (5-2)
4. Bell County (6-1)
5. Rockcastle County (6-1)
6. Prestonsburg (7-0)
7. Pulaski County (3-3)
8. Clay County (4-1)
9. Perry Central (4-2)
10. Hazard (4-3)

Pulaski I would think beat Prestonsburg, other than that there are no for sure wins I see.

Pulaski is ranked right where they should be, they should win their district and be the #1 seed going into their sister district matchups.

Pulaski scrimmaged both Rockcastle and Bell Co. Beat both of them. They also beat a GRC team that went into Pond Creek and beat Belfry.

Pulaski needs to find a way to finish games. They are young and I would say they will do that. Got two great test at the end of the year

I wasn't insinuating they were overlooked, very well could be they are simply coming on at the right time
in the season, and going to be a tuff competitor now.  It happens all the time, a team learns a lot as the season
progresses and they get where they need to be come play off time.   I see that playing out with this team.

If it were power rankings, I'd have Pulaski at #4.

As a Pulaski fan I don't feel like we are being disrespected at all. We won the games we should have won and lost the one's that separate teams from being good or being great. I think PC will get over the hump and put a full game together and shock a team or 2 in the playoffs. At the end of the day I'm glad games are played on the field and not on paper, rankings are fun but are often misleading.
