Mountain Top 10 Week 7

1. Corbin (5-1)
2. Johnson Central (5-2)
3. Belfry (5-2)
4. Bell County (6-1)
5. Rockcastle County (6-1)
6. Prestonsburg (7-0)
7. Pulaski County (3-3)
8. Clay County (4-1)
9. Perry Central (4-2)
10. Hazard (4-3)
#2
This looks to be spot-on. It's clear a #6 Prestonsburg would dominate an unranked Pikeville.

To borrow a term from the 3A thread, Hazard will be the prohibitive favorite when they come to Pikeville in a few weeks.

I'm not quite sure why Hazard and Perry County Central are on there instead of Pikeville and Somerset. Pikeville's losses are to the #1, 2 and 3 teams in the rankings, and only the Johnson Central games was more than 2 scores. And Somerset blew Perry County Central out by 39, and beat Breathitt County by 21--the same Breathitt County team that beat Hazard.

It’s sad what WYMT has turned into sports wise. I guarantee the folks that cover sports for them haven’t been to every game and just are watching records.

It certainly isn't the same as when they had Brian Milam and Derek Forest.

Worst top 10 rankings ive seen. Pulaski doesnt forsure lose to anyone in the top 5 and they're 8th. No pikeville at all is absurd. And I'm no Pikeville fan. They're easily 4 or 5 even with a bad record. No one else outside of the top 3 would have a better record with that strength of scheadule. I think 90% of the mountains would be winless 7 weeks into the season with their same exact scheadule.

WYMT WOULD SAVE US ALL TIME AND THEM MONEY IF THEY JUST GAVE THE SPORTS PROGRAMMING TO UPIKE OR ALICE LLOYD STUDENTS!! The product would be better than allowing this crew of village idiots to pretend to know sports just to get their sideline and media privileges at UK games.

Jet….is the  Stanley boy out for the season?  I had heard he may have to have some surgery.   Hate that if true.  He’s had some terrible luck over the past few seasons.
#19
I haven't heard anything. That would be a huge loss. Regardless I hope he will be ready for baseball. Tremendous player.
#20
Stanley will probably be back, but will be in a splint. It will still be several weeks before he is back to action. He has had some terrible luck with injuries.
