I used to be an avid Alabama football fan back when Damien Harris played.  I met Damien when he was playing high school football.  He was such an intelligent and personable young man that I just fell in love with him.  I loved watching the success he had at Alabama!!  But due to some disingenuous decisions and selfish  (in my opinion) actions  made by Saban, I no longer like to watch that team.  So them getting beaten yesterday was fine with me.

I fell asleep watching the Tennessee game.  While I'm not a huge fan of Tennessee football, I do love their coach.

KHSAA is who allows the kids on the field no matter if its Corbin or Johnson Central. Hopefully these kids file a lawsuit against the KHSAA and force eligibility.

Sure, that's what's needed in high school sports more lawyers. If Luke Salmons is the kid's legal guardian, then there should be no question of his eligibility. Something tells me that's not the case.

Don't act like Lawyers is not needed in today's society. Everything is rigged to where you have to use one and especially with eligibility.

Filling bogus lawsuits against the KHSAA would unfortunately make them think twice the next time that Corbin tries to get a transfer eligible, even if Corbin were to lose in court. Lawyers are a necessary evil in our society but frivolous lawsuits are not needed for honest folks to thrive.

I'm responding, not initiating. I despise trolling myself. It adds nothing of value to any website, IMO. But as long as it is tolerated, I have no plans to be a sitting duck either. Your ranking of posters could use some work. I don't consider myself a top tier poster, and becoming one is not on my bucket list. I remember hearing many say they thought that would probably be JC's game plan to just burn a lot of clock, just a thought I had. if so, it worked well if it wasn't for Kade's extremely rare interception that led to the onside that Corbin would of potentially won by multiple scores.

I don't think Corbin played rope-a-dope lol. JC just ran it down their throat like a lot of people thought they would. And Elam torched JC like a lot of people thought he would

I can say I did not expect this as I am sure most of you did not. I was hoping one of these teams were going to be able to be competitive with Boyle but with defense like that I don't see that happening because Boyle will get some stops for sure. But it was an exciting one to watch if you like to see high scoring games. Kudos to the offensive coordinators because they both had good game plans and execution.

McCoart was hit a lot and a sizable chunk of his yardage came from his second and third efforts. He crossed the line once carrying so many Corbin players with him, I don't think there was any room for more. If Corbin's plan was to give up a lot of yards to speed up the game, then the Redhounds did a great job making it look like they were trying to tackle JC's running backs.

I think if these two teams play again, JC should consider kicking onsides every time. It didn't seem to matter where either team started their drives. If Corbin's plan was to let JC score quickly, then their kicker would not have put the ball in the end zone on nearly every kickoff.
