Final
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

It was 31-0...

Although they took the loss....Pikeville looked really good tonight IMO.
On another note, Pikeville lost Chaz Jackson (#10) and John Michael Mayp (#8) tonight to injury. Hope neither are too serious!

Sophomore RB Daniel Harmon had 126 yards rushing for Pikeville...he is going to be a good one.

I didn't think you would mind if I borrowed it for the stretch run...I will be in Cincy Monday-Wednesday for the Reds-Astros series.

Thats not good...With 3 concussions Mayo may be out for a while. He's a good kid I hope he is allright and can get back on the field. Hopefully none of the injuries are serious and the players can get back on the field.

Chaz will be back on Monday or Tuesday. No biggie....
Mayo might have finished his senior year early.
(he is in pikeville medical now, having trouble responding.)

Seemed to me, even tho they lost and were shut out, that pikeville was DOMINANT on the line--this really seemed to show how much the weightroom can help--gunna be a great year for the panthers!

The weight room has helped the panthers very much, and the panthers were dominate in our own aspects. hc was just a better, faster, bigger school.......
but there are still moves of improvement coach jackson needs to think about...

anyone know how many times the Harmon kid carried the ball?
08-20-2006, 03:43 AM
I hope Mayo is ok. Good news about Chaz. My panthers were in this ball game for three and a half quarters and even the final score is what most people thought it was going to be at halftime. Chin up boys this something to build on for the season.

The Panthers will be a great team I see State Championship if Mayo is ok L really think the kid # 23 Josh Mullins is great on defence let him run the ball a little bit he has great speed

Not puttin down Mayos QB skills in any way but if hes out his prescence will be most missed on D IMO.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mayo...he is a great kid. Jackson will have the panthers ready for a run at state, but Newport Cath. looked good against Belfry. Also, Harmon should be running the ball for Shelby Valley. He is a great kid, but I wish he had stayed at home!

Daniel Harmom was unstoppable in the 1st quarter ! Pikeville looks really good, they played a really good game and Tim Honaker blocked really good for Pikeville and put some really good hits on HC running back causing the fumble !

I wish him the best and hope that he can get back on the field for his senior season!

from my understanding, theyre pretty good EVERY year--but i honestly dont think Jackson and Co. are looking for just a pretty good season....

From the looks of the score P-ville got knocked out of the water..but i was there and it was a really good game from what i seen. P-Ville just couldn't get into the end zone. and i think it has to do with there o-line..
