Glad Pikeville got a game. GRC should be a good test. Solid 6A school this year. If Pikeville can keep drives going and finish with points this one will be close, imo.

This is a solid game to pick up last minute. Props to Pikeville because they will be more than ready for 1A in a couple of weeks but for now ima say the heart break continues. Ive got GRC in a good competitive game.

Got to give props to Coach Mac and administration for hanging tough while reaching out to GRC and getting a game this late. This should be a close scoring game, no doubt. The only concern with my Panthers is being banged up and not having enough time to heal up like they should. Also, we can appreciate Coach Chirico and staff agreeing at the last minute to travel the distance on Saturday to play this game. Good luck Panthers!

How the hell did GRC beat Belfry? They have a less diverse offense than any team I have watched this year, zero eye discipline on defense. Pikeville has looked a little better than what I’ve seen them look this year offensively. Spreading the ball around. One score would have won this game though, imo. GRC just can’t move the ball.

Belfry came out of that game hot and put several on them quickly. After half, GRC made adjustments and came back. I’ll tell you, though, this looks nothing like the team I saw earlier in the year. Pikeville looks better on offense, but most importantly, there aren’t nearly as many drive-killing penalties as they’ve had all year.
