Newport Central Catholic vs Raceland (at Covington Catholic) 9/27
#31
I thought Raceland looked well coached and had some good athletes. Thin in numbers to compete with large schools. Think they do well against NCC.

The Rams have to win this one

Considering NCC has no field I doubt that.  They have been renting other teams fields for the decades.

NCC has a new sports complex in the plans/works and is pending contract finalization. It may be ready during next school year but I doubt it will be ready for 2025 football season. Link to article: https://nkytribune.com/2024/08/contracto...all-coach/

Complex will never be built.

Newcath 28
Raceland 14
We held highlands to 165 total yards. Newcath wont get close to 28 points

That’s pretty impressive.  I haven’t seen the game. How did Highlands score 35 on 165 yards of offense?
7-0 with 54 seconds left in first half and we get burned for a TD to make it 14-0 at the half. 2nd half starts with a kickoff return right down the sideline for a TD to make it 21-0. And we threw an int to give them a short field for a TD
