I think Perry wins by 2-3 scores. Martin has some players to keep them close for a while but I think Perry will whip them up front and are too much for Martin especially at Perry.

Really tough matchup for the Cards

Cards are gonna have a tough one this week. Perry is a good team and going to be tough to beat especially on the road. Though, if the o-line and d-line can hold their own a little bit in this game, I can see the cards keeping this a close one. Just can’t come out flat. If they can do these things, I can see this game being around a 1-2 touchdown game.

Perry will have the biggest and best line play Martin County has seen this season. 

Cards just need to try and keep Maynard healthy and limit the amount of hits he takes in a game like this with district play beginning next week with Prestonsburg.

I know Perry had 30 plus points against valley but I heard they struggled to find the end zone several times and had to settle for field goals. If they do that against Martin, cards will have a chance. Buddy said Perry brought the cannon back and didn’t get to use it the second half.

To be fair, virutally every team around here would just go for it on 4th down in the instances Perry opted to kick the 46 and 47 yard field goals.
I think they scored a touchdown basically instantly in the first half unless I remember wrong.

If a team has the ability to kick a FG then why not. I have seen it many times that they are forced to go for it and get nothing. A good FG kicker in HS is a great weapon to have.

Oh definitely. Having a FG kicker who can book for 40 plus yards is a secret weapon in hs. I was just saying you got to put it in the end zone if you want to beat teams good teams or you can let teams lurk around N pull off an upset.

If Martin Co can stop the run game of Perry and stop getting so many stupid flags against them they have a shot I don’t think Perry will throw on them and be successful they got 3 DB that can cover pretty well now if they get beat on a couple then Perry will have a big night but if not Martin Co can keep it close and maybe sneak one out Martin Co can run or throw the ball pretty good big test for the cards hope for injury free game
