This was the game where I was worried bell county couldn’t score enough points. Completely said “defense can’t get stops why even worry about it”. I was wrong. These last two games from bell county probably in the last 2 seasons. Both teams, this week and last week, scored touchdowns with less than a few minutes to go and varsity out to make it more reasonable. But in all honesty the varsity defense allowed 0tds to perry and 2 to whitley. Look back at last year, might not seem much, but the improvement is DRASTIC.

Oh yeah, and if they stay in front of the chains and the ball off the ground , they are just as explosive as ever. Multiple 20 plus yd runs and two/three massive home run balls. Clicking on all cylinders for sure. Took a few games to get the line right, and there’s still some holes, but lord you watch that pulaski scrimmage and you would think bell county would be 0-5.

Last thing, special teams!!!!!
Dudley might not be on here, but if he is, WORK ON SPECIAL TEAMS!!!
The defense held whitley to well under 250 yards but allow 3 scores, why?? If they didnt kick an onside kick and give it to them at the 50, we kicked it like a squib and they returned it 25 plus each time. Average field position had to be bells 45.

Congratulations Bell. Not suprised u won but how easily u did. Thought this would be a 1 possession game and it didn’t seen close from the second quarter on.

Whitley County has farther to go than I thought. They are too one dimensional right now . They need to develop QB's from a young age and get more kids involved. They seem to have more players this year, but one RB is carrying too much of the load.

I really thought Whitley would have played a better game than they did but if you can’t stop the run then you can’t expect to win. Whitley is going to struggle in district play with their current offensive situation. QB is zero threat to run or throw the ball. They can’t give Parker the ball 40x a game and expect to win against the Pulaski’s.
