I’m a fan of our kids in the mountains that put the work in everyday. I’m all for back and forth between programs prior to a game just not big on bashing a program that is currently doing the things necessary to build a program back up. If you’ve noticed, I’ve also been very big on Hazard this year! I’ve seen all of the top 1A teams with the exception of Campbellsville and Hazard to me has definitely looked the best. Now is P Burg to the point of making a run at Beechwood, Mayfield or LCA? Not yet but Coach Hager his staff, have the needle moving in the right direction and that’s how it starts.

Jet you missed some great football this evening. B-Team game went double OT with Pikeville winning, an outstanding game by both teams.
A-Team game was going to half when I left with Pikeville leading.
No forfeits just good football, might want to bet on something else next time.

I took back all that stuff dang it! Was still mad over East Ridge. Pikeville 8th grade up 32-0 at halftime...

The A team game or 8th grade game, whatever you want to call it was tough to watch. Adams made a ton of early mistakes and dug themselves an insurmountable hole. Pikeville's 8th grade team is very impressive and made the Blackcats pay for every mistake made. That AMS A team is MUCH better than they played tonight.

6th grade game was a dandy. Pikeville's 6th grade QB was impressive. Made some tough throws down the stretch that helped Pikeville win. AMS 6th grade team battles hard and doesn't make many mistakes. Well coached bunch.
