Martin county finally showed some heart and grit in the 2nd half and left it all on the field. P.S. Parker Watts is an animal

Martin County has some weapons, they didn’t play the best game but they really showed how fast they can put points on the board. Great second half adjustments from the coaching staff the past two weeks. The Big MO is heating up in Inez!!

Must of been a good game but Congratulations to Martin County

Such a frustrating game if you’re a Tiger fan. Too bad we weren’t playing horse shoes or hand grenades.

The Cards battled in this one and didn't quit when Paintsville jumped up 19 on them at half, onto Magoffin County.

Tough two weeks for the Tigers. You lose two games by a combined three points. The young Tigers will learn how to finish these games.

the challenge for martin county is finishing the season above where they started...... parker watts helps with that
good comeback win but you have to be alot better than this come playoff time

Martin County battled back with 34 second half points. The crowd kept saying just watch. They are second half team but it was an ugly game for the Cards. They overlooked Paintsville and about got smacked in the mouth in their home field.

I felt that as the game went on paintsville just couldn't hang with physicality as the game went into the second half. A few off their players got beat up during the game and it showed in the second half. I also think it was bad coaching in the second half. They went to conservative once they was 19-0 but it could have been cause their QB was banged up as well.

Another poster already cleared that up and said he was already on the team before that post was made. I know Muncy wouldn’t play a kid if he wasn’t eligible.(09-14-2024, 11:36 AM)bac2369 Wrote: I believe also out of state transfers are different than in state.Out of state or not, im pretty sure the rules are the same.

Watts wasn’t even guaranteed to play in this game. Glad that he thought, putting up 65 yards with 2 touchdowns which was crucial in getting this win. He also had a visit to wake forest the next day. Football in Inez is going to be fun for the remainder of this season.(09-13-2024, 11:30 PM)HollyWood24 Wrote: Martin county finally showed some heart and grit in the 2nd half and left it all on the field.
