Haddix leaaves Boyle at the end of this season, he's done all he can do at the high school level, yes I think he's that good. Stoops era comes to an end at UK, and Neal Brown is named Head Coach Haddix Joins his friend with the Cats and Q flips to the homestate team.
Hey!!! tell me it isn't possible, with UK hiring Pope I think the athletic prograpms are going back to trying to build the program around Kentucky BlueBloods.
Either way I think Haddix Joins Brown wherever he's coachign next season.

I suppose anything is possible, but I think if Stoops were to leave (can’t fire him due to massive buyout), Barnhart’s first call would be to Jon Sumrall. After his success at Troy and him being an alum who loves UK, it would be difficult to see him not accepting immediately.
Neal Brown’s WVU team showed improvement last year going 9-4 with a bowl win, so that may have bought him some more time, but his seat was very warm before last year. I think UK would probably make a handful of other calls before contacting Neal. If for some reason they do fire him after this year, it’s anybody’s guess where Q ends up. The only other official visit he took was to UL. That would suck pretty hard for UK fans if he became a Card.

This could happen and even though I don’t think it would I don’t see Kentucky firing Stoops and the main reason for that is the money ( boosters) wants Kentucky to stay a basketball school and football is something they enjoy tailgating at football games and most don’t even go in they stay outside in the parking lots and watch on tv even though football makes more money for the school than basketball ever will

I do think Coach Haddix' time in Boyle is limited. He needs to be calling plays on Saturday afternoons. I look for him to be a OC somewhere.

You are 100% correct. Let me take it one damn step further. The Bengals should fire the joker who is in charge of designing/calling plays for the woeful Bengals' offense and hire Justin Haddix to coordinate the offense. Are you freaking kidding me? There is no way on earth that a Justin Haddix -led Bengals' offense would have been as bad as they were on Sunday. NO WAY!!! If Haddix had been in control of the offense they would have beaten the hapless Patriots. INEXCUSABLE!!!
Let me ask everyone a question. What are the chances that a Justin Haddix-led offense would EVER punt the ball on 4th and 5 and down six points with just a little more than two minutes remaining in the game?

That's why Old School is here... to make days! (And to speak the unvarnished truth, without regard to political correctness)

I think Haddix stays at BC. He has 3 young kids in school he wants to watch grow up. I’d bet 100 against a cup of coffee with Bull he was already offered jobs at the next level before this season. Dont get me wrong, I’d like to have coffee with Bull as well and talk some xs&os. Maybe Bull could vouch for my statement as he is probably as close to Haddix as myself.
High school you can make a difference in kids lives. Prepare them for the real world and next level. Again, It’s my opinion Haddix don’t do what he does for money either. He has been offered more in a lot of places. Money can’t buy a program rich in tradition like Boyle. They are the Mecca of HS Football in KY especially lately. Not many programs have support from administrators, and the community like they do. They hire the staff needed as well. Not buddies.
Corbin has and had the opportunity for the same. But. 8-10 old heads think it’s still 1982. Won’t flip the page. Still want power and complete control on the field from the outside positions.

Haddix will be coaching on Saturdays eventually. The right offer just hasn’t come along yet.

Which made the 4th and 5 punt that much more dumb. Everybody in the stadium knew the Bengals weren't getting the ball back except for dumb@ss , Taylor. Man. what a bum!!! Fireable offense. I say it again, if Haddix had been OC/playcaller, Bengals win that game. I think even I could have schemed a less stale offense. This Taylor bum is clueless, dumb, and unimaginative.

I can't see into the future but I can see dead people... Some people have said Old School sees visions and hears voices. Some even insinuate I need stronger medications. Regardless, here is what I see. Salmons leaves Corbin for his dream job, coach at Marshall University. Haddix returns to lead Corbin to its first title in over four decades. If I'm wrong, just call me Nostradumbass.

I agree. I'd be happy if he was UK's OC or the Bengals OC. Hell, make him OC of both of those stale offenses. No way that he could do any worse.

It would probably take an FBS offer to even be a possible pay raise. Thomas More College has lost their last two head coaches, one to be a high school head coach the other to be a sporting goods sales rep. Both increased their salaries with their new positions.
Not many high school football coaches get offers to coach FBS, if they do it is most likely a position coach.
Not many FCS, D2,D3, or NAIA coaches get offers to coach FBS.
If his goal is to coach FBS I hope that he achieves his goal. I think it would make for a great story!
I would not mind him coaching at UK and calling their offense. It would get me excited to watch them again!!

UK would be taking a step backwards letting Stoops go and hiring Brown and if I’m not mistaken Brown has always been his own offensive coordinator, don’t get me wrong I think Stoops needs to go but hiring Neal Brown is definitely not the answer for UK!
