After last week I’m afraid to make a prediction……….
#4
I think Somerset rolls in this one big.
#5
I'm going with Somerset as well.
#6
I think Somerset will win but I'm interested to see if the O Line has improved from two lackluster performances in a row.

Honestly Somerset is a 40 point better team than Knox but it don’t matter they won. Somerset defense is good but offense is struggling. They only return 1 starter from the OL from last season and he is a sophomore this year. They will be very different team in a few weeks IMO. They may have to have some D line play both ways some to get some of these young guys some experience. Good news all the linemen are mainly sophomores with a freshman and some juniors mixed in they only loose 1 from the DL next year so most people in the Somerset community before the season kind felt this season would be a lot of 21-7,14-7 type games with the defense carrying them but next year with great freshman class will be in the hunt in 2A next year. Still have good shot at regional championship this year just got to make a few tweaks on OL.

Very fair assessment of the Jumpers. I do agree that the offensive line will improve but I also think we need another playmaker on offense to step up to take some pressure off of Hughes.

Above poster is correct. Somerset’s defense is good but the corners are suspect. The offensive line may be young but they’re all too reliant on #17 to be the offense and while he’s a fantastic player, defenses are going to make him win games and when he can’t, they have to develop options.

Definitely need some people to step up or get in the program.
