Prestonsburg vs Lewis County. Thoughts?

Prestonsburg still has some things to sort out and improve on with another rivalry game coming up and district play on the horizon. I’d like to see Prestonsburg come out and mix in some more passes out of the flexbone and wishbone formations. Get Holbrook settled in and comfortable while also getting Patton more involved in the offense as well. Also looks like Prestonsburg can rotate 4 guys in the backfield to keep legs fresh between Elliott, Harris, and the Hatfield brothers. Also another good opportunity to work Stumbo back into the offensive rotation.

Defensively Prestonsburg mainly needs to focus on their tackling and containment. They’ve been great at forcing turnovers and have played very well late in games. Credit to their conditioning.

Lewis County cannot be overlooked though. The Lions played Prestonsburg close for most of this game last season, most of those playmakers aren’t there anymore but you still can’t be overlooking anyone, especially on the road.
