Sure can't wait to watch this one, my cousin Mason Moore is on the mound tonight, obviously been lights out in his appearances dating back to last year's tournament when he was in relief, going up against a stout A&M offense but won't be the same w/o Montgomery out there. Hoping for another big blue W and moving onto the semi finals!

Per ESPN, the opening line was Texas A&M -150. Looks like that has now moved to -135.
A&M will start ace Ryan Prager. The 6'3, 230 lb. lefty out of Dallas is one of the top 60 MLB prospects and should go in the first three rounds of the Draft. Book is that he has a so-so fastball that "only" tops out in the low 90s but has solid command, plus movement on his slider and change, & mixes his pitches well.
Prager was roughed up in his last appearance (June 8) in the Super Regional against Oregon, as he went 1.2 innings and gave up 6 runs before getting the hook.
A&M has a superb closer in lefty Evan Aschenbeck. They had to use him for three innings in their opener against Florida; he threw 51 pitches in that outing but national outlets seem to expect that he could be available if needed.
Kentucky will go with Mason Moore. The 6'4 righty from Morehead has been lights out so far this postseason.
The Cats also have former Aggie Robert Hogan. The 6'0, 195 lb. Junior right-hander from Minnesota has been primarily used in relief or spot duty, having never gone over three innings this season.
I expect to see plenty of arms from Kentucky. A&M has an extremely potent offense, but will be without outfielder Braden Montgomery, who batted .322 and slugged 27 HRs and 85 RBIs before going out in the Super Regional.

Moore gets a 1, 2, 3 top of the first inning for the Cats!
Cats go out in order in the half of the first inning.
A&M threaten in the top of the 2nd with a base hit and hit by pitch but Moore pitches out of it and it is still 0-0 heading to the bottom of the 2nd.
Still 0-0 after 3 innings in this one.

This has been a great pitchers duel Moore has give up 0 runs on just 2 Aggie hits. A&M pitcher Ryan Prager is throwing a gem as well he has now 4 innings of 0 runs and 0 hits.
A&M had runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and get a big hit by Schott to put the Aggies up 2-0 and they still have runners on first and second with no outs.
Cats right fielder McCoy missed played a hard it ball and it is now 3-0 A&M with runners still on 2nd and 3rd with just 1 out.
A&M now led 5-0 going to the bottom of the 6th inning it is going to be tough for the Cats to mount a comeback seeing that they have yet to get a hit in the first 5 innings.

Cats do stop the no-hitter and get runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs but fail to score. It is still 5-0 Aggies after 7 innings.
Cats coming to bat in the bottom of the 9th still down 5-0.
Nicholson gets the Cats on the board with a solo homer in the bottom of the 9th to make it now 5-1 Aggies.
Cats lose 5-1 and will play Florida tomorrow at 7:00pm on ESPN in an elimination game.
