The Cats do not allow a run in the top of the first and they get a run in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Nick Lopez to led 1-0.
The Wolfpack threaten with runners on 2nd and 3rd but Posser gets out of it and the Cats still led 1-0 heading to the bottom of the 2nd.
The Wolfpack have tied the game at 1 in the top of the 3rd inning.
The Cats take back the lead in the bottom of the 4th on a 2-run shot by Nolan McCarthy.

Cats led 3-1 headed to the bottom of the 5th inning.
Pooser is a very good grove currently, he has only thrown 19 pitches in the last 2 innings as the Cats still led 3-1 going to the bottom of the 6th inning.
NC State ties it at 3 with a two out 2-run homer by Maksrewicz.

Had runner on third with 1 out in the 8th and couldn't get the go ahead run in. Momentum with NC State right now but this bunch never lays down. Hold em and find a way!

NC State takes the lead on a wild pitch by ace Johnny Hummel. The Wolfpack led now for the first time at 4-3 and this is the first time Kentucky has trailed in the tournament.
