For me it's Ashland and Johnson Central. Truth is, as a Tomcat fan I have come to love and respect the Eagles. I met coach Matney while taking summer classes at Morehead. I was impressed before he became a household name and followed him from his early days until his passing. Now back to the game, for the most part JC has had their way. Last year I thought the Tomcats had the better team but still lost. This year should be a classic no matter who is the favorite going into the game. Ashland also has a week three game against Harvest Prep out of Columbus, Ohio. Hopefully Ashland can step it up and compete, we'll see.

I think you have 3 of the potential Champions on this schedule in Class 4A, 5A, 6A. Games to watch FD play, Bowling Green, Trinity and Boyle County. No doubt ST X and Male could be potential 6A title contenders.

I'm not sure, I listened to a YouTube audio interview about a month ago and he was in good spirits making the most of a difficult situation. I've heard different renditions of his long term prognosis so I won't repeat anything. Just continuing to pray and hoping for the best.

I watched Haddix run wildcat at Frederick Douglass last year the entire 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. So really, if Haddix wanted to do that in the bigger games, he can. But keep in mind. The way he works a QB they will have 2 years of training lol by the time they go through the way he preps them and should be ready by seasons start. I would volunteer to stand out there lol and hand it off to Q or Brown and watch them go.....  No, all jokes aside, he has options and in a pinch, you better believe he can use Q. I like when there is a competition. I wished more schools did that. If you can win the spot its yours situation. Thats what makes a team a team when everyone knows its earned and not given.

Guy Turner and Baylor Murphy 
Murphy is a qb who has a good arm but needs to work on decision making 
Turner is a guy who can run aroind a bit in the pocket and make things happen
