Corbin had to walk it off against Jackson County last night which was surprising.

Harlan beat Bville

Tonight, clay survived bell 6-4. 
Clay started marcum to try and save Crawford for Whitley but from what I saw, Crawford had to come in and relieve to keep the lead going. He threw at least 3 innings, maybe more. Not sure what his pitch count got up too. I’m sure clay watched it close to have him available for tomorrow.

Whitley up 1-0 on Knox. Whitley not looking good and Knox playing good on their home field. Allen is throwing a one hitter for Whitley right now but Whitley themselves only has two hits. Going to top of the 6th currently

Knox had a good game plan. Whitley hasn’t played Knox this year and hadn’t seen bright. He’s a top 5 pitcher in the region when he’s on. Took Whitley 6 innings to get it figured out. Knox’s defense ain’t helping matters. 4 or 5 errors on the night.

Going to be an interesting day. I’m sure Corbin will pitch Helton tomorrow and as long as the bats show up shouldn’t have any trouble with Harlan and Gilbert will take the mound for Whitley/Clay

I don’t think Anderson has pitched this year. 
Im sure Whitley would like to save the Bargo/Walton duo for Corbin. It would give them their best shot. Bargo beat up Corbin pretty good at Corbin earlier in the year. But then again so did Allen before losing in district. 
If they can win by committee tomorrow and throw the other Allen brother, Wilson, and Rose then that would work out good for them. 

On the flip side, Corbin needs to come in tomorrow and completely control the game and put Harlan away early. And I think they will.

And toss up. Whitley dominated the two game during the season, Corbin won district. 
same thing happened last year.
Corbin has Gilbert and Cima for tomorrow and Whitley has everyone minus Allen so they can switch it up. 
Should be a good one either way.

I think the Hounds are playing really well as a team right now and to have Cima and Gilbert both available to pitch will be the difference in my opinion. However, Whitley has Shope and he’s a baseball genius… Plus Whitley has two Corbin kids in Tyler Rose and Hunter Upchurch who will undoubtedly be a thorn in Philpot’s ass.. If Whitley beats Corbin and Hunter Upchurch and Rose has contributed to this win then I’ll stand and clap for these young men as We at Corbin should’ve done what it took to keep them at Corbin and not run them to a school 10 miles South just so they can beat the class at Corbin they always played with..I know of at least four class of 2024 athletes that Corbin ran off that have went onto others schools and have been very successfull. The talent well is drying up and we still got Jewell making football coach hires. Coach Philpot if Coach Shope beats your ass again in Region please resign…

Since shope’s arrival hes has won 2 region championships 1 distract championship
Philpot has won 3 region championships and 4 distract championships
With a winning record of 12-7 overall against shope

True but Philpot has been there for years. Shope was just starting to build up a bad program and just started getting his players 3-4 years ago. Time will tell if that’s the case if those numbers flip soon.
