I AGREEING with on the belfry fans and the sad thing is this is coming from a sheldon clark fan whose team will be weak. i saying belfry by 20. "THE PIRATES ARE MY DADDY!"

blackcat student, you must be in dream world when you think P'burg will beat Belfry. P'burg will be lucky to make the playoffs. East Ridge, Shelby Valley and Pike Central will give them Blackcats all they want this year and you got your hopes up that you will beat Belfry. Don't be disappointed or blame the refs like you do every year you can't win. By the way all of your players eligible or not you better check with the KHSAA.

Well are you gonna critisize anyone of the other 17 people that voted for Pburg ! I have said nothing about blaming refs I've never blamed a game on the refs ! I think your the one in the dream world thinking that East Ridge, Pike Central, and Shelby Valley will beat Prestonsburg ! East Ridge has never won a single game vs Prestonsburg boys in any sport !

ok it seems to me that when the dominance of this district come to be mentioned that it is always pburg and belfry...and when it comes to belfry you all are correct but the pburg i don't understand???.....grant it when sc humiliated pburg in the 99 and 2000 seasons...this was during the most successful stretch the blackcat program has had in the past 10 years or so along with 2002 ....sc was not in their district...and if i ain't mistaken sc has been back in this district for 3 years going on the fourth( this season)...sc is 2-1 over pburg... so please give credit and realize that their is a trifecta in the dominance of the district and pburg is 3rd...but it doesn't seem to matter cause belfry is still 1 so noone but the pirates have dominated..so i just wasted my time...................pburg 12 maybe...belfry if god is watching 75 if not 48

I don't know if you realized this or not, Belfry and Sheldon Clark both came from 3A ! And there playing against a Prestonsburg team who almost went to 1A two years ago! Much more student at both SC and BHS ! IMO the Prestonsburg and Belfry game will be great this year cause either team dosnt have big players but they both have the thing that kills and thats Speed along with Strength both have a great Weight Lifting programs ! But this game this season could go either way !

This is way to early for this. There are so many things that can happen between then and now. Belfry and P'burg arelike every other team in Eastern Kentucky. If they do not steer clear of the injury bug and a couple of key players go down then it changes the out come drastcally. Here is to hoping both teams are at full strength and hitting their stride come October 6.

I don't think P-burg's starters, after being worn down by Belfry's, will be able to put up a fight against Belfry's 2nd or 3rd string.

TBH it matters more whether or not Belfry comes to play in the first half or the second.

And if I were Haywood, I'd begin starting 2nd stringers over 1st stringers who don't come out playing hard, just to shock them back to reality.
