How far will you be traveling to watch a Pike County Bowl Game?
#1
How many people will be hitting the road to watch one of the Pike County Bowl games? I will be loading up the family and making my first trip back to Kentucky after being away for 6 months. We will be driving 4 ½ hours to watch the mighty Pirates take on a great competitor in Newport Central Catholic to open up the 2006 Kentucky High School Football Season in Pike County Fashion. Break out those barbeque grills, red and white face paint, and new footballs and let the valley rock with the sound of “For Another Pirate Touchdown”. I hope everyone from the North and other places will have a safe trip to Pike County. The place will make you feel at home, but the field will rock with painted faces.

I live less than a mile from the new Belfry HS, but sadly I won't be able to attend the PCB, might not get to watch ANY game this season. My schedule at work changes starting next week, so the scrimmage at Hazard tomorrow is possibly the last game I'll get to watch in person. I'll have to get up with CC and see about getting them on disk ASAP. I need to stop at Wally World and check out their portable radios, hopefully WXCC or someone will broadcast them all... 8 (

My boss is from Phelps, I think he just has it out for me 8 P

Everyone remind Corey, Maydo, and Phil to keep their legs moving, remind Ryan to keep his head in the game and his chin up, and remind them that they're the PIRATES!!!
