4th meeting of the season between the Cardinals and Hornets, with Martin taking all three, including an 83-73 win in the District Final.

The Cards look to repeat and cap one of the most successful runs in the school's history for their outgoing senior trio of McKenzie, Hale, and Sturgell. 

Magoffin County High School hasn't been to a Sweet 16 and should bring a crowd ready to see if they'll be able to pull off the upset. Keep an eye on the Hornets' Aden Barnett, who averages over 29 ppg coming in.

I looked at the KHSAA Records and didn't see Magoffin County listed. Don't know the area's history or if a school that later merged won, but Magoffin County High School hasn't.
