Corbin refs threw 2 FD players out for that but nothing was done to them when they did the same. My opinion of Corbin football now can't get much lower.

Unfortunately, I saw the video it’s not the way Corbin wants to be represented, he should have been ejected immediately, it just wasn’t caught. Doesn’t matter the game or whatever team you play or pull for no place for that kind of thing.

I like the video of Tavy dragging him into the endzone for Boyle’s 2nd score. Haven’t seen the other, but doesn’t surprise me. Saw plenty of other chippy crap during the game like Sage’s helmet getting ripped off his head on the ground

Listen, people. I visited the barbershops, grocery stores, gambling dens, massage parlors , watering holes and some of the other favorite haunts of the coaches and Redhound boosters/meddlers. The talk all over town was how the bigger Hounds were going to physically brutalize the smaller Justin Rebs. Just physically beat them up, so to speak. I fully expected a couple of Rebels to leave the game early. Problem is, while Greer is a smug thug, himself, he doesn't even know how to do thuggery correctly. If thug ball was part of the plan, he screwed that up as well.
While I am not advocating this plan, if he was gonna do it he should have had a hired thug, a player who was not gonna be pivotal to Corbin winning or losing, to take out Quisenberry early in the game. End his night early. Q was the only player that was gonna beat Corbin on that night. Again, not advocating this approach at all , but if part of your plan was to be mean and physical and win at all cost, that would have been the way to go. From what I heard at some of the haunts around town, I was expecting Quis' night to be less than 24 minutes. That he got stomped on like a sack of flour is no surprise. I knew Corbin would be very physical with him. Tommy went in with the mindset of his team imposing its will physically on the smaller Rebels. It's just that either his plan had a major flaw or was not executed properly.

So OSH actually heard prior to the game that they were going to try and injure Quisenberry. That's pathetic. I hope the real Hounds fans aren't proud of that.

Get rid of Tommy, Dave, Jewell and several other old guys that Viz mentioned and ban them from coming within 500 feet of Corbin schools or playing fields, just like you do pedophiles. Then hire a couple of administrators with some integrity and have them put a call in to Haddix. Tell him if he wants to come back and lead the Redhounds, he will be given total control to do as he sees fit. If Justin says no, then call over to Somerset and speak to Clay Clevinger and offer him the same deal.

Yep. Exactly!
Plus, the Board would then have to justify why they're firing a guy that give straight A plus grades to and call him "a true Redhound through and through." The Board is a bunch of spineless cowards!!!! You hear that, Mulberry, Burchett, Childers, Gibson, and Creepy Paul --- You are spineless COWARDS! When did Dave Cox become Kim Jung Un and you become his cowardly sycophants?

Old School that probably would have been best to have kept that information to yourself. If you're just saying this because you're a disgruntled fan I want you to know that you will be in my prayers tonight for heeling. If what you say is true who ever said that has no place around our youth today and should have to answer to that.

I hope that this in not true.
I expected a very, very physical game. And it was! I don't know what Greer's plan was. All I know is that, in the end, it came up short. I thought his game plan was okay for most the game. As usual, the other team, with better coaches, usually makes better adjustments. Quis and coaching pulled this one out for the Rebels.

The video does not represent physicality. It represents dirty playing and dangerous actions.
That player should've been ejected. AND if he did it as part of a game plan executed by the coaching staff, it speaks horribly about Corbin's football program.

I don't get disgruntled over a single game. Losses used to linger with me when I was younger but not any longer. Whether Corbin beats Boyle or not adds nothing to my back account or really even much to my life , period. I was over the loss even before the loss occurred. You might be right about keeping things to myself, but that's not who I am. That's not who my readers want me to be. I'm not fake like Tom Greer. I don't pretend to be some big Christian like Tom and then be just the opposite in real life.

I am as real as real can be. I don't try to hide my lunacy. I know I'm coming apart at the seams and I don't try to hide it. My meltdown is out there for all to watch(and possibly to enjoy). But know this, Rebel 55, Old School speaks Truth in the most politically incorrect circumstances. I say the things that others think(and know) but would never say. Yes, there were people who would have liked to have seen Boyle's best player removed from the game early. Yes, yes, a hundred times yes. Was that sentiment shared by most of Corbin fans? Probably not. By plenty of Corbin fans? Yes. By Corbin's coaches, you'll have to watch film and judge for yourself. Btw, just to be fair, let me add that I'm sure there were a fair number of Boyle fans who wouldn't have been devastated if Elam had been knocked unconscious early in the game, never to return. Not you, I'm certain, but there are those kinda fans out there. Every fan base, Boyle and Corbin included , has their sociopaths.
I might need healing , but just keep thinking good thoughts. Thoughts are never pointless. But I do sincerely appreciate the thought. You seem like a sweetheart of a person and I wish you nothing but joy and happiness over the holiday season. Don't pray for me but send out some good thoughts to the Universe . It's all the same, anyway. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Where can I find the video of the possible egregious actions that clearly and definitively show a player stomping(I don't mean like a WWE stomp but a forceful stomp intended to injure) another player? I've seen some pretty questionable stuff in most HS games I've watched this season, from many different teams. It's violent sport. Questionable hits all the time. A player will crack heads with another many times during a game but if he tries to leap a player he gets a minus 15 yards. Put his foot on a guy while he's on the ground and he's expected to get ejected. Christian Laetner stomped Aminu Timberlake while he was lying on the floor. He wasn't ejected. Was the Corbin player's alleged "stomp" more egregious than Laetner's? Again, I haven't seen the alleged incident so I can't say. Again, there are two guys who were never gonna be kicked out of that game and you all know it. Too many big whigs there to watch them. No official would have balls that big.

Haddix has said he would only consider coming back if 3 goofs were gone. Two of those goofs are as good as gone. The cowards on the BOE need to quit giving Cox A+ grades and give him a big ol' ass kicking out of a job.
I’m sincerely glad you enjoyed the joke and did understand it was a joke. Also I respect your passion for the football program. But I also sincerely believe you are beating your head against a wall which will never be knocked down. It’s clear there are powers that are in control beyond the names you have floated. But I will continue to follow you battle against the windmills…..
No one knows more than I do about the powers in control here. You are probably right about a changing the Old Guard around here. It might be another forty or fifty years.
Btw, where is Bull, TD Hounds, Hound05 ? Am I being delusional? From your eyes' perspectives , did it not look like Corbin was at least as good, or , more accurately, the better team ? Three hurdles and the QB/punter running into a punt block changed the outcome.
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas!

Watched the video. I was not impressed with the egregiousness of the "offending": actions. Laettner's was MUCH worse and all he got was a technical. I'd say a technical is all this deserved, at most. If you are a snowflake, you probably disagree. That : "incident" was probably the least amount of contact any player had on that night. A big ol' nothingburger!!! Give him 15 yards if you want but an ejection--- you CAN'T be serious!!!

Bunch of thugs and as this gets out along with comments by OSH taking out players, no one will respect them nor want to play them.
That player should've been ejected. AND if he did it as part of a game plan executed by the coaching staff, it speaks horribly about Corbin's football program.

Corbin is such a tradition rich city, for more reasons than football. BUT football is a major component in their history!! Corbin has had some of the best teams and coaches in their history, and they always compete. Even in their down years, the teams were competitive. And traveling? Nobody travels any better! I have a ton of respect for Corbin and their football traditions.
There have been times when I was convinced that OSH wasn't really from Corbin. I thought, perhaps, a rival school had provided a poster that would pretend to be from Corbin and post such obnoxious and delusional posts as to offend as many people as possible. It would possibly be successful in turning a lot of people away from Corbin and considering every fan as obnoxious and delusional. I know better than that. Some of the best people I know are from Corbin and quite supportive of the school and their sporting clubs.
OSH always has an agenda when he posts. And like most extremists, has a grain or two of truth that can be built on. But two things that are never contained in his posts are objectivity and accountability. OSH is demanding accountability but refusing to be accountable for his own actions/words. So Christian Laettner stomped on a competitor......WOW! I didn't know that!! That makes everything okay!! By the way, OSH, I don't believe there are technical fouls in football. Perhaps you erred and meant to say personal foul; one that requires ejection. That is much more fitting to the shameful stomps and grabs that happened in this game.
So, I've had my 2 cents worth! I'm sure your response will be dripping with sarcasm and insane, unfounded accusations. That's fine. I won't be posting about this game anymore. It's old news, and I don't want to waste any more of my time.
I will end by saying, if you are who you say you are, then I shudder to think of you being an educator for the youth of the area.

Do we gotta watch another rerun of same thing next year? I heard earlier that Boyle gonna be better next year than this year and Corbin is losing the best class to ever come through Corbin. If this is true someone better hit the recruiting trail quick while Haddix isn’t concentrating on recruiting. Also heard two new board members will be coming onboard after first of year. 11 million reasons to get a new Head Coach people..(11-19-2023, 11:08 AM)Waitaminute Wrote: How about all the videos surfacing of Corbin players stomping Boyle players mid game? I don't post much anymore since my boys are out of school. But Old School Hound has made it hard for me to stay quiet.
As much bull crap as he spews, he has no credibility at all, in my mind. Geez what a self serving, egotistical excuse for a person.

Whether or not it warrants an ejection at that point in the game in that kind of a game, I don’t know, but it’s disturbing that there is plain as day video which not only shows an intentional stomp/step/unnecessary contact after the play is dead and also shows officials directly in front of and directly to the side watching it happen. No flag. This was the first of several incidents the refs ‘didn’t see’
