Analysis
Urban Meyer is amazing in his second year at programs. In 2002 he went 9-3 at Bowling Green, and in 2004 he went 12-0 at Utah.

Florida plays the toughest conference schedule in the country year in and year out. They have annual battles with LSU and Bama, and this year they draw Auburn out of the west.

Chris Leak’s future is this year. He is either going to be a first round pick next year or be a complete dud. I bet on him being a star this year.

Florida’s season will be determined in the month of September 30-October 28, 4 swing games in a row….

Florida is my pick to win the SEC and go to a BCS bowl game.




Georgia

Analysis
For my money, Mark Richt is the best coach in the country….

Georgia draws Ole Miss and Mississippi St in the west, a clear advantage over Florida…

Georgia will struggle offensively, I don’t see them passing the ball very well all year….

9 wins and a Outback Bowl showing wouldn’t be bad for this team….

Tennessee

Analysis
We’ll know a lot about Tennessee in their first game of the year. Cal is a very very good team, especially on the ground. If Fulmer losses that game, his ass will be hotter than a set of matches…

I’m not a huge Erik Ainge fan. He only completed 45 percent of his passes last year….

Arian Foster will be the reason why this team is successful….

I was halfway tempted to put Tennessee in the 6-7 win range, but I think new OC David Cutcliffe makes enough difference to the offense to win them a few more close games this year….

South Carolina
Head Coach: Steve Spurrier (149-45-2 overall)

Analysis
WR Sidney Rice will be a first round pick next year. This cat will be a star…..

Steve Spurrier’s team usually get better in the second year, but I don’t see much improvement, I’d give them an outside chance of beating Auburn if the game wasn’t a quick turnaround, they’ll only have four days to prepare….

The fact that they return seven offensive starters is dangerous…..

Spurrier did a nice job in his first year, but thinking he’s going to turn South Carolina into a threat year in and year out is something I highly doubt….

Kentucky

Analysis
The most important game of the year for Kentucky will be September 16 against Ole Miss. If they can win that game, they could set themselves up well for the rest of the year….

The SEC East is so difficult, it’s hard to fathom Kentucky ever becoming a consistent bowl team….

Last year, the offense was a flat joke. Little led the offense in rushing and receiving. Unless your Marshall Faulk or Reggie Bush, that’s not good. And Little could lick either of their jock straps with a leather tongue….

If UK doesn’t go to a bowl game this year, Rich Brooks is out of town…. I think Rich Brooks will be out of town…..

Vanderbilt

This Vandy team will be bad. Last year was one of the best in ages (probably since 82, the last time they made a bowl)…

Jay Cutler will be missed badly. The backup threw 3 passes… all year….

I really think if you can score 17 points on Vandy this year, you’ll win every time. They’ll be dead last in the league in offense….
