Nov. 18 Western Carolina W
Nov. 25 At Florida St. L
11-1 overall (8-0 conference)
6 âswingâ games
Analysis
Urban Meyer is amazing in his second year at programs. In 2002 he went 9-3 at Bowling Green, and in 2004 he went 12-0 at Utah.
Florida plays the toughest conference schedule in the country year in and year out. They have annual battles with LSU and Bama, and this year they draw Auburn out of the west.
Chris Leakâs future is this year. He is either going to be a first round pick next year or be a complete dud. I bet on him being a star this year.
Floridaâs season will be determined in the month of September 30-October 28, 4 swing games in a rowâ¦.
Florida is my pick to win the SEC and go to a BCS bowl game.
Georgia

Oct. 28 Florida L
Nov 4 at Kentucky W
Nov 11 at Auburn L
Nov. 25 Georgia Tech L
9-3 overall (6-2 conference)
5 âswingâ games
Analysis
For my money, Mark Richt is the best coach in the countryâ¦.
Georgia draws Ole Miss and Mississippi St in the west, a clear advantage over Floridaâ¦
Georgia will struggle offensively, I donât see them passing the ball very well all yearâ¦.
9 wins and a Outback Bowl showing wouldnât be bad for this teamâ¦.
Tennessee
Head Coach: Phillip Fulmer (128-37 overall)
Last Season: 5-6 (no bowl)
# of returning starters 12 (7 offense, 5 defense)

Nov. 4 LSU L
Nov. 11 at Arkansas W
Nov. 18 at Vandy W
Nov. 25 Kentucky W
9-3 overall (5-3 conference)
6 âswingâ games
Analysis
Weâll know a lot about Tennessee in their first game of the year. Cal is a very very good team, especially on the ground. If Fulmer losses that game, his ass will be hotter than a set of matchesâ¦
Iâm not a huge Erik Ainge fan. He only completed 45 percent of his passes last yearâ¦.
Arian Foster will be the reason why this team is successfulâ¦.
I was halfway tempted to put Tennessee in the 6-7 win range, but I think new OC David Cutcliffe makes enough difference to the offense to win them a few more close games this yearâ¦.
South Carolina
Head Coach: Steve Spurrier (149-45-2 overall)
Last season: 7-5 (lost to Missouri 38-31 in Independence Bowl)
# of returning starters: 12 (7 offense, 5 defense)
Returning Leaders
Passing: Blake Mitchell (186-315, 2370 yards, 17 TD, 12 INT)
Rushing: Mike Davis (146 att, 706 yards)
Receiving: Sidney Rice (70 rec, 1143 yards)
Tackles: Mike West (47)
Sacks: Stanley Doughty (3.5)

Sept. 9 Georgia L
Sept. 16 Wofford W
Sept. 23 Florida Atlantic W
Sept. 28 Auburn L
Oct. 7 at Kentucky W
Oct. 21 at Vandy W
Oct. 28 Tennessee L
Nov. 4 Arkansas W
Nov. 11 at Florida L
Nov. 18 Middle Tennessee W
Nov. 25 at Clemson L
7-5 overall (4-4 conference)
4 âswingâ games
Analysis
WR Sidney Rice will be a first round pick next year. This cat will be a starâ¦..
Steve Spurrierâs team usually get better in the second year, but I donât see much improvement, Iâd give them an outside chance of beating Auburn if the game wasnât a quick turnaround, theyâll only have four days to prepareâ¦.
The fact that they return seven offensive starters is dangerousâ¦..
Spurrier did a nice job in his first year, but thinking heâs going to turn South Carolina into a threat year in and year out is something I highly doubtâ¦.
Kentucky
Head Coach: Rich Brooks (100-134-4 overall)
Last season: 3-8 (no bowl)
# of returning starters: 16 (9 offense, 7 defense)
Returning Leaders
Passing: Andre Woodson (146-253, 1644 yards, 6 TD, 6 INT)
Rushing: Rafael Little (197 att, 1103 yards)
Receiving: Rafael Little (46 rec, 449 yards)
Tackles: Wesley Woodyard (100)
Sacks: Wesley Woodyard (2)
Interceptions: Bo Smith (2)
Schedule/W-L Projections
Sept. 2 at Louisville L
Sept. 9 Texas St. W
Sept. 16 Ole Miss L
Sept. 23 at Florida L
Sept. 30 Central Michigan W
Oct. 7 South Carolina L
Oct. 14 at LSU L
Oct. 28 at Mississippi St. W
Nov. 4 Georgia L
Nov. 11 Vanderbilt W
Nov. 18 ULM W
Nov. 25 at Tennessee L
5-7 overall (2-6 conference)
4 âswingâ games
Analysis
The most important game of the year for Kentucky will be September 16 against Ole Miss. If they can win that game, they could set themselves up well for the rest of the yearâ¦.
The SEC East is so difficult, itâs hard to fathom Kentucky ever becoming a consistent bowl teamâ¦.
Last year, the offense was a flat joke. Little led the offense in rushing and receiving. Unless your Marshall Faulk or Reggie Bush, thatâs not good. And Little could lick either of their jock straps with a leather tongueâ¦.
If UK doesnât go to a bowl game this year, Rich Brooks is out of townâ¦. I think Rich Brooks will be out of townâ¦..
Vanderbilt
Head Coach: Bobby Johnson (11-35 overall)
Last season: 5-6 (no bowl)
# of returning starters: 12 (6 offense, 6 defense)
Returning Leaders
Passing: Chris Nickson (1-3, 13 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT)
Rushing: Cassen Jackson-Garrison (97 att, 579 yards)
Receiving: Earl Bennett (79 rec, 876 yards)
Tackles: Jonathan Goff (63)
Sacks: Chris Booker (3)
Interceptions: Reshard Langford (3)

Oct. 28 at Duke W
Nov. 4 Florida L
Nov. 11 at Kentucky L
Nov. 18 Tennessee L
3-9 Overall (0-8 conference)
3 âswingâ games
Analysis
This Vandy team will be bad. Last year was one of the best in ages (probably since 82, the last time they made a bowl)â¦
Jay Cutler will be missed badly. The backup threw 3 passes⦠all yearâ¦.
I really think if you can score 17 points on Vandy this year, youâll win every time. Theyâll be dead last in the league in offenseâ¦.
Back to the cellar for the Doresâ¦..
