After reviewing the Pikeville scrimmage, the Bobcats really didn’t look that bad competing against the preseason 15th ranked team in the state. I’m not going to say they are ready to beat a really good team like Belfry in the first game of the season. They may even get blown out! But I will say that by the end of the season, when it really matters, I look for them to make a very strong finish. Lots of talk about the QB position being a glaring weakness, and maybe right now that’s true, but Stacy is a hold back senior that’s played sports his whole life. Give him a few games and he may end up being a pleasant surprise.
