Well lets see I would say thats a YES.....B/C nick is one hes of an athlete and would of been starting for belfry this year....so ask yourself would it hurt your team if you lost your starting QB? not trying to be a smart ass just asking a ?

I don't know we already are having QB problems.

It will hurt any team if they lose a QB, and finding and replacing a good corner is hard to do also.

Who will be taking his place in those two positions? How much experience will they have. I sure hope that he is able to play some during his senior year. Wish Nick luck for all of us!

Jordan Phillips was QB last year. He is also starting in the Hatfield-McCoy game.

Iwas told today Preston ran a 4.65 40 at H I T camp in huntington yesturday and has bulked up some over the summer.

Yeah, Ryan's been working really hard this summer. He was hoping he could beat Nick out for starting QB, and knew that he'd have to prove himself. Maydo and CC have been lifting a lot also. Look for a much stronger D this year. Another possibility is Devin Kohari. He played QB as a freshman and was considering going out for it this year, but last I talked to him about it was before he went on vacation, and before Nick was injured.

Likely DBs this year will be Devin and CC at safety, John Young and probably Heath Varney at corners, unless Heath starts at linebacker, then there's too many possibilities to list.

Nick could return before the season's out, but he'll be literally a season of conditioning behind the rest of the team. I hope him the best though, he's a good kid and deserves to be able to play his senior year.
