Final from Ashland.

 Russell had the ball with 23 seconds left in the 4th with it tied 63 all. Shaelyn Steele took a shot with like 12 seconds left and Ashland came back down and scored with 3 seconds left. Russell probably should have taken the shot with about 3 or 4 seconds left. There was way too much time for Ashland to drive back down the court and score. Good game anyway.  Congratulations to Ashland.

This one surprised me a little. Russell was and still is my pick to win the region but things are getting more interesting. I believe Mytown covered it so I'm going to try to watch it this evening. Sounds like a fun game, wish I hadn't seen the score. LOL

It will be a great 16th Region Girls Basketball tourney in Morehead in March. It will be some tough games with Boyd County, Ashland, Russell, and Rowan County in the 16th Region.
