Good rebounds win for Fleming Co.  after the heartbreaking overtime loss to Bath Co. I like this Fleming team. Their defensive pressure can cause a lot of problems for teams. 

Russell has had great success when they have been able to get the ball down to the Charles boy on the inside. Unfortunately the teams that have pressured in the backcourt have given them problems!

Honestly, not really impressed with either team tonight. I think Fleming has some potential, but both teams struggled when pressure extended on the floor. Russell has a long way to go. Fleming has some time to pull things together, to be honest, they just look like a young inexperienced team with skill and talent. The upside to that is they will garner plenty experience over the next couple of months whereas a veteran team doesn't have that room to grow. Always been a fan of both teams. Good Luck to both, it's a long season!

Saw Fleming play earlier in season and like their team!

Russell can beat most teams in the 16th Region when they are hitting 3’s. See the Russell/ BathCounty game for an example.

They could just as easily beat Fleming County as well.

I totally agree. When Russell gets the ball down the floor, they are pretty good. If I remember correctly Russell had a 22 point lead in the Bath Co. game before Bath extended the floor in the 4th quarter. Bath played half quarter defense for the first 3 qters. When Bath extended the floor, the lead dropped from 22 points to 7 or 8 points. Russell made their free throws late to get the lead back to double digits.

Fleming's defensive pressure was effective. If they can continue to do that then they will get better throughout the season.
