This game was never close. Betsy Layne smothered Floyd Central all night on defense.

I knew if FC couldn’t handle the press it was going to be a long night for FC. The Jaguars look like they still have some work to do. BL is playing fast and physical right now. Other teams have to match that if they want to win the 58th.

Brady Robinson had 41 points tonight for the Bobcats

Robinson had 43 tonite and teams in the 15th region better be prepared for the smothering defense of Betsy layne.

BL plays hard defense and Brady Robinson can score 30 any night. They will be a tough team to beat. You have to limit turnovers because they get a ton of their offense in transition.

BL was long and quick to loose balls tonight. They’ll be a tough out if this defense keeps up the intensity.

I watched most of this game online. BL did play smothering defense but there were sooo many fouls that were not called it was kind of ridiculous.  I understand letting kids play, but I just thought the refs in this game just didn’t call much of anything.  PS I’m not a fan of either team and could not have cared less who won.  Haha

Betsy Layne most certainly has a lot to prove. They took down a very weak FC team. Props to Robinson, but no need to make assumptions of this team coming after the 15th. Yet to see them play any competition yet.
