Martin County 73 Russell 59
#1
Final.
#2
Congratulations to Martin County.

Russell was missing Caleb Rimmer who is still out with injury and a couple more. Russell will be even better when they get to full strength.

Russell could very well win their district and get to region and win a game or 2.

Russell was leading 17-14 after 1 quarter but after that They lost their composure due to Martin County’s pressure defense. I think Martin had 10 or more 3’s while Russell only had 3 or 4 in the game. Martin seems like a really good team. Good Luck the rest of the way to Martin County.

Martin County has a nice club. They were able to turn the pressure up and it bothered the backcourt of Russell. It was openingly night so there were a lot of mistakes by both teams but both teams look like they could have good years.

We played Russell in summer ball. I was impressed with their pieces. Rimmer is gonna be fun to watch for the Russell fans. He’s automatic at that free throw line jumper.

When do they expect Rimmer and the rest of the Injured Russell players back playing? Hopefully, Rimmer and the rest of the injured players will be back soon. Has anyone given a timeline when they will return to the court?

No Timeline yet on either of the 2 injured kids. Rimmer should be a big addition though when he gets back. Rimmer played Starter minutes last season as a 7th grader.
