I had a feeling this would happen. Bryan Station has a good team.

I can imagine a lot of people in Louisville are not to happy

It makes that 52-7 win over Station to begin the season look even more impressive.
#9
ALWAYS root for the public!! Go BS!!!

Somebody's seat just got hot. Trinity did not seem to improve any at all on offense during the season. If they had played Center Grove and Carmel late in the season, they would have been curb stomped. Bryan Station played a great game but there is no excuse for Trinity not having a better offense to complement their stellar defense. That being said, Bryan Station has a legitimate shot at winning the title.

This is a stunning result. Congrats BS
#12
How many wins does BS have over Trinity?
#13
Congrats, Station!!!

I'm certainly not shocked at all. Thought Station had a good chance. Very mildly surprised but certainly not shocked.

Bryan Station just made a statement that their improvement was no BS. Congrats Defenders!

Totally different station team then it was at week 1 ...I would expect a dog fight if they rematched
#17
Once Bryan Station decided that they were a running team they got better and just keep getting better.

Trinity offense is not good and nothing like it used to be.

Not gonna lie, it was a tough game to listen to. Especially the *third* time BS converted on 4th down by getting Trinity to jump offsides.

If the administration doesn't replace Cobb, they're crazy. Keep him as DC, but he has shown no ability to organize an effective offense.

Andrew Coverdale is missed way more than some realize.

Trinity WR did drop a TD pass in the endzone in the second half. Two steps behind the defender ball dropped in perfectly.

Its always funny how any other team, getting to the regional championship game would add years to their tenure at the program, but at Trinity, it takes away years. Even when it is well know that the current senior class was one of the least talented classes in many years at Trinity.

I mean St. X didnt even make it to Regional Championship game......no one calling for Wallace's head........
#21
And I was really surprised how much station swarmed the ball they are very good at tackling
#22
The same Wallace who won a state title just last season and who came to St. X with multiple state titles already on his resume? Yeah…they should totally fire that guy, lol.

I do tend to agree with your inference, though. If T keeps their current coach he has a better than 50-50 chance to eventually win a state title. Currently, however, the Rocks are 14-13 after two seasons.

Given the untold advantages enjoyed by metropolitan private schools like T, how long do you think a rebuild from those disastrous Beatty years will take?

Love it!

So does this mean we can stop all the whining about how public schools playing private schools isn't fair?  Smile

All-time series is tied at 3-3. Station is 2-0 vs. Trinity in the playoffs.
