If at BG I would probably pick them because I believe they are that close. But it’s not, so SW is who I’m rolling with. I think they’ll get the ground game going and keep BG off the field.

But the sad thing is, this is one of those things who wants to be first for the slaughter house next week? I know you have to believe in your team, but it’s a tough task whonthe winner

This is hard one for me to pick. I've picked Southwestern all season, but going with The Purples this time.

Im going with those chili dogs and fries in the pic, you all got started on the other thread talking about it and I’ve not had a chance to get one somewhere, may have to make do with Sonic…

JMO, but if you removed the names from these two teams I think more people would be picking Southwestern. I feel like they have had the more impressive results and while they have not had as strong of a schedule as BG they have left no doubt. On a cold, possibly wet game at the Reservation, give me the Warriors in a low scoring game, something like 14-7.

Who are the good teams that Bowling Green has beaten? Their best win is probably Greenwood. The only top level teams they played they got beat badly. Does SoS really help you out that much if you're just getting lit up by good teams? The best win by either team by far was Southwestern's win on the road last week. Second best is probably Southwestern's win on the road against Simon Kenton. And just for the record, MaxPreps has the SoS for Bowling Green at 8.9, for Southwestern it is 8.2. Not exactly a major discrepancy there.

Southwestern is a really good team but I think them being so one dimensional will hurt them going forward. Wright is a heck of a running back but they need to have somewhat of a passing game. As it stands right now, they have some good players at the position but they don't have a real QB to stretch the field on the team. They had a really good one who could sling it waiting in the wings but now he's across town in Maroon.

Southwestern can throw it.  But you have to give them a reason to throw it.  They've to a 63% completion percentage this season to go along with 14 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions.  They're averaging almost 10 yards per attempt and 15 yards per completion.  Just because they don't throw it much doesn't mean they don't throw it well.  Most teams haven't been able to put the Warriors in the position where they had to throw the ball.  But when they have thrown it, they've done damage.

I'm going with the Warriors on this one. Their road win last week over Scott County made a believer out of me.

Southwestern won’t be the best team that Bowling Green has played. Bowling Green will be the best team Southwestern has played. They’ve not played the speed and skill kids of your upper tier teams.
