Central’s extremely run heavy offense will have trouble moving the ball and scoring against the strength of Boyle’s defense !

Not a Boyle fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I can’t stand central just as bad. Hopefully Boyle takes them to the woodshed and makes them enjoy it. Boyle 49-7

He can make it easy on himself if 500 too much. You can ask Jack Lambert I'm good for it. He can quit flapping that lip and man up or just put his panties on and except  it.

Central always suprises teams in November. I don’t think they will win, but I’d say they most definitely could knock boyle off if they don’t match them with the same intensity. Just like they could on every other team still remaining. Inlet that game vs belfry affect my opinion of them, just like I let jc vs LCC affect mine about them. I do think haddix will have them ready to go, but if either of the favorites are looking ahead, they could find themselves looking for a seat at Kroger. Both central and FC are dangerous enough to pull the upset. I do look for boyle to win by about 3TDs but I think this game could be close for a while. Central can stop to runs very well. So if boyle can’t get that established early for it to open up the pass, well that’s why I think it’ll be close for a while. Boyle can also stop centrals run O as well. Not sure how well they can pass, but probably not as good as boyle.

Halftime- boyle 21 central 14

Final- boyle 35 central- 14

Central is averaging around 65 yards per game passing for the season, their RB Cortez Stone has over 2000 yds rushing after Friday’s game, he’s probably 95% of their offense .

Boyle County should put an early running clock on Central. A one-man offense will not be enough to keep the time of possession close. Central's defense will be spent by halftime.
#21
Central's D will not be spent by halftime. They are a platoon team. I'd be more concerned about any defense having to stop Stone for 4 quarters

They may be a platoon team but their offense should not see much action.

I think Cortez will get some yards, and points. But at this stage you can’t be one dimensional and have high likely hood of winning, especially going against a good D and a very good offense.  Every team left in any class is very capable of winning. And I do think central can walk away with a W. But I think it would take a central defense playing lights out. Unless people are just underestimating stone. Central is going to have to win the LoS battle decisively to have a chance
#24
I don't think it will be a running clock because Central runs the ball so much. I don't expect Central will score more than 14 points. I look for Boyle to score in the range of 28-35.

I can't "except" it but I can "accept" it. Boyle is well coached and always plays hard; I respect that.

Historically, 1 dimensional teams do not fair very well against the Rebels. However, there have been a few exceptions over the years. For Central to have a chance I believe they have to establish some type of passing game to keep Boyle honest or Tommy Z and the boys up front will be teeing off.

Regardless, I believe this game stays closer than most think for a longer period of time too.

I don't have a score but I will say Boyle by 13.

Expect a great game between two great programs. I do think Boyle pulls away late to win by a few scores.

Would love to see Central and Franklin at Kroger Field next week just to show how two teams schedule tough and overcome adversity. Many wrote those two teams off before district play began.

IDK how likely that is to happen but I definitely give Central a greater shot at winning this game than most do...

I get what you’re saying.

But Boyle’s schedule has been pretty rock solid as well. Played Bryan Station, Frederick Douglas, and they are still playing. ?

As for injuries, Try the Rebels.
hardwick out half the season. Dakota Patterson out all year. Dawson missed two games. Bodner missed a couple. ?

Hatz you forgot Bowling Green who’s still playing and who beat South Warren twice and South Warren handed Central their last loss and I believe it was a shut out!

Boyle also lost Cole Sims for the year and he was their best DB.
