Daniel Pugh is the only one that comes to my mind.

Breathitt has a young Qb that may do well, and Justin Haddix's brother is a freshman this year, so look for him in the coming years, I here he is descent.

The kid from Middlesboro-QB(his name slips my mind) will have an outstanding year this year. Im definately not M-boro supporter but this kid is multi-talented. IMO hes the player to watch in the district if not the region. Lets just say I hope my team doesnt have to face him in the playoffs.

Trevor Hoskins is the QB from Middlesboro and he should have a strong year, as the Jackets return most of their team. Watch out for Thomas Frazier from Williamsburg, Clint Cashen from Corbin. Howard from Leslie, (if he is playing qb) and the qb from Clay County, Lewis I think is his name. Also Ross Deaton from Somerset if they count as being from EKY.

John Michael Mayo from Pikeville will have a nice season at QB. He is a very hard worker and even better kid!!

My brother is a freshman this year at Pikeville and Im always telling him to watch John Micheal and do what he does, the kid is just a natural born leader.

I watched him play last year, in warmups he was standing flatfooted on the 40 and hitting receivers in the back of the endzone.

Pugh can have that kind of season. He is a dual threat with his arm and legs.
Cashen can put up big passing numbers but it not a running threat.
Hoskins is a dual threat player and could have a big season as well.
Those would be the 3 I think could put up some big numbers as well as the Sophomore from Clay County (cannot remember his name) who had a fantastic season as a freshmen in 2005.

Pugh is expected to have a good year
While JM Mayo at Pikeville could have a big year, don't expect big numbers because of the type of system Pikeville runs.

J.K. Ratliff could have a huge season in the offense he is in! Also I believe Pugh from Paintsville, will have a huge yr. in the district and region they play. Pugh will fill stats sheets like Olinger never did! Olinger was nice but Pugh will far exceed the season he had last yr.

I'd say who ever the qb is that plays against Lynn Camp in the first round if you all know what i mean. lol.

Oh yes, although from what I hear hes not avery verbal leader, but as we all know they are those that lead by example and mayo is definitely that type of player. Expect big things from him in 06' both from QB and MLB

the young Qb from clay co. will in the future.

Wooderson, I had a chance to watch the kid from Middlesbore (Trevor Hoskins QB, 6-4 200 Sr.) and I was very impressed with him in the playoff game at Belfry last year. I think this kid can play Division I football. He has the arm, quickness and size.
07-27-2006, 10:15 PM
I think the qb from knott county michael lindon, could have that kind of season that olinger had last season. He has the arm strength and the quickness, the only thing i think he needs to work on is his accuracy.
07-28-2006, 04:22 PM
Im in agreement with OK2NV. JK Ratliff will have a huge season this year with the system he is in. He's improved in all areas of his game. From speed to arm strength and accuracy. Daniel Pugh will also have a huge season again. But I can't say the same for Paintsville as a whole. Daniel is a great athlete, strong, and has a good arm.

pughes will have a dominate season and tommy joe hall from sf in a few years if he sticks with it

I think Howard of Leslie County will have a very good year. He is a very versatile QB. He can run and he can throw. This makes for a very deadly combo. I think he will be one of the QB's who throw for a 1000 yards and rush for a 1000. I think Howard will be a very exciting player to watch this year.

Yes the quaterback from knott centreal is a great quaterback lindon is one of the quickest backs ive seen knott county have in a few years i think if he stays healthy that he can have a season to remeber this being his senior year that means he has to leave what he has on the feild.
