Pikeville leads the all-time series 34-17-1 overall and 9-6 in the playoffs.
Hazard last won at Pikeville, during the regular season, in 1940 according to records on file.
How accurate is that?
A score or two will pop up here and there from the 20s-50s so nothing is ever a certainty and I try to always note “as of current records”.
We now have scores for 1,089 games since 1925.

You know I love the panthers so I think the panthers win but it isn’t going to be no cake walk I am taking the panthers by to scores now the ball is in you court
I’m a guy who goes off matchups.. But Hazard does not historically play well during the regular season at Pikeville. If Hazard comes and plays the game should be interesting. If they come out flat and with no energy it will be a short game for them. But if I was predicting how this one plays out I’m going with Pikeville 35-13. But I will say this if Hazard wins this game it’s going to be something like 20-15.

Sorry I can’t see Hazard beating Pikeville at Pikeville 20-15 like they beat Sayre at Hazard. Can’t see Hazard giving up 50 in a half to Letcher and getting a win at Pikeville. Can’t see Hazard shut out with like 8 rushing yards vs Bardstown and winning at Pikeville. Pikeville has studs all over the field. Stop Max Johnson and win going away. 42-6. Sorry I won’t act like these are two even teams to fire Pikeville guys up. They will be fired up on their own. Bloodbath.
Now if they play in the playoffs is when I will get cautious with the letdown factor. But I see a(nother) statement made Friday.

And anyone who says they won’t be surprised to see Hazard win is in some alternative universe IMO.

I hope the Panthers beat them 150-0.

Rivalry or not, Pikeville should win this game by at least 4 TD's. For folks saying that Hazard will keep it close or pull off the win.... you're either sandbagging or just plain wrong. Pikeville has put a running clock on teams that are probably 3-4 scores better than Hazard.
I said it last week as well, Hazard is 1 dimensional on offense and that dimensions name is Max Johnson.
Pikeville rolls in this one.

It’s Game Day Panthers this is it one of those goals you guys set for yourselves at the beginning of the year and the first step to what you are reaching for so play your game all gas no brakes and block out the noise ( remember 2020) and believe me Hazard isn’t coming to your place to lose and it’s going to be a battle do your jobs no plays off and this old fan will be there to cheer you guys on and as always GO PANTHERS!!!

Going to be an absolute butt kicking tonight

The interesting aspect about this matchup is these two teams could very well meet up in the playoffs a 2nd time so that fact could influence play call. For the dawgs to win they gotta keep Pikeville under 28 points simply because the Hazard offense doesn’t put up huge numbers and 80% of that comes from one player. Hazard will also have to tackle A LOT better then their last two games, or Birchfield will put up an ungodly amount of rushing yards on them. This one is always interesting. Hardest game to predict every year.

Good luck to the Panthers and hopefully no injuries to either team getting ready for the playoffs.

Keep doing what they have been doing all the way to Kroger I say. Just a disclaimer I make zero $ from my coaching advice.
