4A Final Four Matchup Thoughts
#1
Of course the season needs to complete for RPI to coordinate who goes where, but as it stands currently who do you envision playing in the semi final matchups?

East: Boyle and Corbin

West: Franklin Co and Warren East

I could see Logan County making it in over Warren East but just from seeing Warren East on film they certainly look the part. Does Spencer Co have a realistic shot at knocking off whoever the 2 seed is from the opposing district? Whether that be Franklin or Central... I personally don't see it happening but I'm also not very familiar with what Spencer Co has. Would appreciate some insight on that.

The East of 4A is a tough one to predict just because any of the four of corbin, JC, Boyle, Lex Cath could win on any given night. And whatever two teams do come out of that pack will be the guaranteed favorite going in to thanksgiving weekend against the match ups from the west.

thoughts?

I'd say with current RPI set up theres a more than solid chance those two will be playing round 3

It’s going to be wild when JC and Lex Cath come from the east.

East: Insert Favorite Team Here versus Any Other Team
West: Insert Favorite Team Here versus Any other Team

Please note schools which you dislike should not be listed above.

Until the games are played this has as much merit as any proposed matchup Smile

How exactly do the playoffs work now?

It’s back to playing the opposite district for rounds 1-3 then you have the 4 region champs play in the semis based on rpi? Does the rpi come into play in round 3 instead of round 4?

RPI is used in Rounds 3 and 4.

I disagree with this with hopefully Boyd beating anderson county and Boyle winning it will be set at Boyd county and Boyd county is a hard team to budge if they all want to play and of course refs want to be fair

Boyle will beat the hell out of Boyd. The only thing Boyd will beat Boyle in is coming first in the dictionary.
