I heard the Cutter Boley got injured early in this one when LCA was driving and down 1 touchdown. Not for sure but maybe someone knows..

He was injured with 2:54 to go in the 3rd quarter and Lexington Christian trailing 28-14. The announces had stated in the 1st half that he had a leg injury, so I don't know if he had aggravated that injury or if this was a new injury.

Hated to hear about the QB getting hurt. Never want to see any kid hurt. Hopefully he’s fine and can be back on the field soon.

He could barely plant on it. The hit in the 3rd quarter just aggravated it, IMO.

Both these teams are different beasts in their respective classes. Cutter boley healthy can keep this game at pace but CAL come to knock heads. Fully expect both teams to be seen at kroger in december unless someone else can step up.

Wow.... did not expect this from what iv been hearing from everyone across the state on how Lca an beechwood are the head of the snake in 2a... this loss has huge implications in RPI... almost 100% secures Mayfield 2nd an maybe first.. warranting nothing crazy happens an everyone gets that far, someone is going to get to travel to War Memorial...

Does this mean CAL should be ranked #1 in 3A now? It was a very impressive win

Boley tried playing through a early ankle injury and he couldn’t plant that foot at all. He rolled it worse in the second half it was taken out of the game. Hate it for the kid. Hopefully he’s back next week.
LCA just played a really bad game overall. I think they had 3 or 4 turnovers, poor tackling, poor blocking, and blown coverages. CAL took advantage of everything that was given to them and they owned the line of scrimmage in this one. Very good defensive team.
CAL deserves to be #1 in 3A after tonight.

Quite possible Lexington Catholic and Pikeville give LCA all they want. They still have those two games to play before they cruise in district.

Any team that loses their QB is in trouble
