This showcase is about getting high school kid's names out to professional and college scouts. Not about what coaches will be there helping.
#6
It said the showcase is for 2006 Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Does that mean kids that were in those grades at the end of the 05-06 school year, or kids in those grades at the beginning of the 06-07 school year?
#7
The 2005-2006 students, if they were a senior this past year they can participate.
#8
How many have signed on?
#9
Just saw this will I be able to complete the form and bring it with me on Saturday?
#10
Yes anyone that would like to participate can also sign up on saturday.
#11
Players can still sign up Saturday at 9:30.
#12
How many coaches and which have actually committed to this event? Usually far more are invited than have shown up
#13
Several colleges and 3 professional scouts, plus over 20 have requested the results be forwarded to them.

Hopefully all 85 schools that were contacted can either show up or the showcase director will forward the information.

Good to hear but what kind of information would be forwarded??

How did the showcase go?
#16
The showcase went great. There were about 10 people that came but they were 10 people that really wanted to be there.
Some of the information that would be forwarded are things like:
60 yard dash times
How well they field the ball/hit the ball
height/weight
Age
If they are a pitcher, what they're mph is
If they are a catcher, what they're pop time is.

I'm sure there are some other things, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
#17
Also, there was a player that received a scholarship. Names will be provided once he announces.
#18
Was there any players that really stood out from the rest?
