The Generals from Lexington Lafayette travel to Frederick Douglass to take on the Broncos kickoff is at 6:30pm. The Broncos lead the all-time series 5-0. Lafayette has not scored on Douglass since the 6A playoff game in 2017. The Broncos first two games of the season have been first half running clocks vs. Bryan Station and Tates Creek. I expect this game will be another running clock for Douglass as well.

The game that was scheduled to happen between Frederick Douglass Football & Lafayette High School has been canceled. Reasoning for the cancellation of the game is due to the fact the Generals don’t have enough healthy players to compete.

It will be interesting to see I hope the kids at Lafayette are not to sick with Covid however it will be interesting to see if they have to forfeit any other games this season. It seems to always be when they play Douglass in 2021 Henry Clay only had to forfeit one game due to Covid and it just so happened to be vs. Douglass.. Also, if you want to go back even farther to the 2020 season when Covid affected a lot of schools. It was ironic that all 5 of the other city schools were able to play each other during the regular season and even more ironic was that none of the other 5 Lexington public schools were able to play Frederick Douglass due to Covid. Things that make you say umm. Just saying.

I think that would be a friendly way of saying we don't want to play Douglass..... Smile

Fayette county is a joke, and Freddie D came in and stole everyone! Fayette County gave them a golden egg to do so! Cant be mad at them for learning how to use it.
