Coach Thacker, former coach at Pikeville college was offered the job but their was some speculation to he may have turned it down, don't know 100% to that.
Coach Owens from East Jessamine was also at the top of the list. H e played football at Union college and coached at Powell county prior with coach Fugate .
Job was offered friday, should know anytime who the new man at Magoffin county is.:rockon:

Just heard today that the principal will be offering someone the job before the week is out. They are being very tight lipped about who it is. All they would say is that it is definitely someone that interviewed for the position. Also from what I understand, there were 5 people that interviewed. Hope this works out for the Hornets!!
