FSU hires Alford after offer to ex-L'ville AD Tyra

Michael Alford, who served as CEO of Seminole Boosters, has been hired as Florida State's athletic director after a source told ESPN that the position had previously been offered to Louisville's Vince Tyra, who has since resigned from the Cardinals.
