American Idol's Taylor..

how did this guy win??? and since these people are america's idols, what has any of them done since they won, other than kelly? Of course Gay Aiken had a couple hits.. but as for the rest of them what happened? and is taylor goin to be the next in the history of AI flops?

Taylor will flop......Carrie Underwood last years winner is doing good on the country side so far.

He will flop. Personally the only one out of the last 6 who would have actually made it was Chris. I thought the fans did a horrible job this year. Taylor does not have a #1 hit voice. He sounds too much like a 60's-70's song singer. He'd fit in great with Kaci and the Sunshine Band.

I think you need to look at last years winner in Carrie Underwood, she has had a couple of hits already and has won several awards as well in her first year.

Yea there is no comparison between the two. Underwood is hands down the winner.

taylor was a good entertainer and he had soul in his singing. the girl was a good singer but 9 times out of 10 the best entertainer will be the winner

Josh Gracin 4th place in 04 has several hits. As far as Taylor goes, I like him! I think Chris should have won though.

Chris was my favorite going into the competition and my pick to win it all along. I don't know why on earth he was voted off because even with an unbiased opinion he had the best look, stage presence, voice, personality, everything. Taylor is too old looking, not just the hair but in his face, I can't stand when he sings and tries to dance, the faces he makes while singing REALLLLY drives me crazy and though he does have a good voice it wasn't the best one in the competition. He won't put on a good concert, his album will sell to the Soul Patrol and that's about it. He's a flop, a one hit wonder at best IMO, and I don't think that either of the last 2 should have won. After Chris was voted off I would have picked Elliot over either of the remaining two because he could sing better and just needed to have his teeth fixed. Unless Taylor dyes his hair, has lyposuction, takes dance lessons, and...his voice changes then he won't make it.

I think he won cause since america votes, there are more parents out there who likes his looks and style than kids who didn't.. just my opinion, and the reason chris didn't win is most middle agers who vote don't like that kind of music anyway

Well Clay and Ruben both produced a hit, and Im guessing that Taylor will squeeze one out too. Only Chris or Ace have the kind of star quality to make it. Well, lets no forget Bo who finished second to Carrie who has a hit, which is bigger overall than any hit Carrie has had, though she has had more, Bo's has a greater appeal to a wider audience.

Chris and his band Absent Element had great songs out before Chris was even on Idol, everyone should check them out....then everyone will know who the real winner (is) or should have been.
