I know Paintsville got some sharp looking BLUE helmets with BLACK facemasks to go along with those sharp new uniforms they got last year.
Any other teams going with a new look?

I'll count that, lol. I heard by the year 2010 all high school teams would have to have the new field turf like at Pikeville. Alot of people don't like the turf, I love it.

LCC (Letcher Central) is going to airing the ball out..Kinda odd for a Hillard Howard team to throw the ball!

I will hate to see all grass fields be taken away. I believe turf is good from time to time but I like to play on good ole grass alot too. I mean if the grass is terrible I understand replacing it, but, if the field is in good condition, keep the grass. I loved Corbin's field, good natural grass.
I expect Pikeville to add some new variations to their offense.

How are they going to be able to afford it? I don't think they can mandate "all" H.S.'s have to have turf, unless they are going to provide it somehow. Alot of the schools in low income area's sure can't afford it, unless they're a City School or a Private School with big bucks backing them.

That's what I said, I don't see it happening. I would like to win teh lottery though, I would turn Paintsville's facilities into one of the elite in the state.

If SV can't get some of their better athletes to come out and play football, it won't matter what they wear!!

Im not saying they wont be the best but they will be pretty good this year, they beat pikeville in there 7 on 7 scrimage and lost to Johnson Central, not by much tho.So i look for Valley having a Winning Record and in the playoffs

Yes, but considering that 7 on 7 is just basketball on grass basically.....you cant really judge how ur gonna be when it comes time to put the pads on.........honestly i could go out there in the backyard and catch the ball like im randy moss but it all boils down to when the pants are on boys.
