My information is that Bingham ain’t happy… I feel sorry for LCC’s defensive players.

I would not want to make any of the pancake platoon mad, but especially Bingham..... but that's just me. :-)

LCC’s offense was able to move the ball passing. I’m not going to be arrogant enough to say I know JC’s game plan either. That could have been somewhat by design. Give them the short field passing and don’t give up the home runs. But there were a couple times they burnt the JC defenders.

You know a lot of people commend LCC’s QB (Can’t think of his name), and rightfully so. He’s a great passer with good vision. He needs a little work when he uses his legs and takes off with it. Versus JC he had outside and chose to go up the gut with it. But with that said, Grant Rice, I hope that’s his name is a solid QB. Yea he’s not gonna make the stat book because he don’t throw, and he really don’t have to 80% of the time. But it’s not his stats that impress me. He makes very few mistakes. A couple of delay of game, which could be the coaches fault not his? I know people will say “well how much skill does it take to hand the ball off?”. Quiet a bit. He makes the right reads almost all of the time. And he controls the game. That’s the biggest part. He keeps them in momentum. And once again he don’t make many mistakes. From a HS standpoint, that’s all you can ask. Go out there, run the offense, ans don’t screw up. And he has perfected that. Couple that with he has some wheels.

I don’t know, just thought I’d throw my two cents worth in. You see all these QBs talked about because they have such and such yards passing or are duel threat. But I’d about guarantee you they’ve made way more mistakes than rice in doing so. Hats off to the young man. He’s perfect for what they need him to do.
LCC QB has killed teams all year on read option runs. He has ran for over 1.000 yards this year so the last few weeks teams have either put a spy on him or pack the middle to take his run option away. The last game JC packed the middle to start the game and LCC was burning them up on simple screens. Once they quit packing the middle the QB started breaking off some good runs. Your exactly right If LCC could have just got a few stops on defense that first game could have been close but JC oline is just awesome. The sequence that absolutely killed LCC the last game was down 21-12 LCC got inside the 10 and didn’t score and JC marches down the field to go up 28-12 then the next kickoff LCC fumbles and JC returns it for a touchdown. You go from 21-12 looking like your gong score to down 35-12 in matter of minutes LCC put up almost 300 yards of offense in little over a half due to running clock

I have watched that game multiple times and really was impressed with Lether County Central. Really good QB and I saw too where one of the better speed guys didn't play in that game. I think I read where he is playing in this one. Lineman looked like they were working. They moved the ball. Thats something we didnt do LAST YEAR......

Last year getting just a first down was though against JC. Letcher just doesn’t have time size upfront to defend against this team. They had 2 big lineman that looked like the guys JC as but they transferred to Pikeville the year they was coming into high school. Is the game going to be streamed anywhere?
