You know a Raceland fan is driving a vehicle when it has a skull in the back window that the eyes light up red when they hit the brake pedal.

Is there any way both teams could lose this game? That would be great!

That was the problem last time so hopefully they correct that this time!
I am on the sidelines and I was a witness to this fiasco. The "birdie" marker dude was 2,000% in the wrong so do not blame a coach for this embarrassing act by a dad on the chain gang.
Get outta here with this nonsense. Nobody cares anymore. It’s done and over with. It’s a punchline for jokes now. You need to change your tone if ya wanna hang out in this thread pal.

I’d rather take a Covid test than play at Ram stadium! Friday nights forecast! 10% chance of rain and 100% chance of a S#&T load of Flags! Stop em on 4th down? No problem “We’ll give our Rams a brand new set of downs”

Referees will be from northern Kentucky.

Rams should win this one by 3-4 TDs. But I’m not saying they will.
Is Phelps fairly healthy? I know he had some bumps and bruises earlier this season but hadn’t heard much in a while. Good luck to both teams. These two have had some epic battles over the last few years. Actually I think last year, Raceland probably gave Paintsville their toughest game during their Championship run.

The games last year were exactly opposite of each other. In the first meeting Paintsville had several chances to put us away but let us hang around and we won. The second matchup Raceland had their chances to put the game away and didn’t and paintsville won.

The back and forth of this series is something else. 3 of the last 5 years the team that wins the regular season match up, has lost the rubber band match up in the post season. The difference being in 2 of the last 5 years, the team that won ON THE ROAD in the regular season, has won the district playoff title at their place. Throw ot all put the window though, because the only thing certain about this match up is uncertainty.

The best example of this was in 2017 when Paintsville beat us convincingly in the regular season but we won the playoff game. That year Paintsville was the more talented team but Raceland showed up at their place and won with grit and determination. On paper Raceland should win this matchup but as the past few years have shown that who is the favorite doesn’t always matter when the final whistle blows.

I believe a lot of Ram fans are being mislead by the score of the first game. That was a very close evenly matched game. The score means nothing. Taintsville stalled out three drives inside the 15. The Rams used the QB run way to much and as anyone that knows football can see Mike loves to hit the easy button late in the season. I think he will lean on Lundy way to much and the Rams will fall behind on the scoreboard and be forced to throw the ball. That’s where we get beat. The Rams haven’t tackled well the last two games …not counting the Fairview game….and we will see a lot of long runs from Phelps.

Pikeville wins this one.

Game was competitive, however, if we don’t slow down the QB power and counter, we will have to be perfect on offense to win.

I have to kind of disagree. I dont feel the score indicated the game was any more or less close than it actually was. We gave up the big play to start the game and Phelps broke one long one. Paintsville only managed to put one actual drive together and score. The carries among th3 backfi3ld werent that different between RBs and the QB. Lundy had 6 more carries than the next highest total, and probably 3 of those were him pulling the ball down and running due to coverage. We were the better defense that night and it showed. Now, that being said, Idk if you can limit Phelps to only one big play in 2 games. Lundy led in yardage, but we still had Wallace w 90+, Hughes w 50, and Farrow with 50. So the carries were pretty spread out. We have to do more in the passing game to get to Kroger though. 48 yards and a TD on 9 attempts aint going to cut it. Thats where the difference in the game will be. I kind kf feel like Paintsville sat back and did all they could to take away the intermediate and screen passing game, which opened up and exposed the box for us to run pretty much at will. I look for the Tigers to try to stay a little more balqnced defensively and we have done a good job offensively in taking what the defense gives us all year. This game is still a toss up, but i think if both sides play perfect ball, Raceland is a few scores better. Its going to to come down to whoever can sustain drives and finish them woth scores.

Something else that has me feeling better about the rest of the post season and the direction the program is going, if you go by practice theough the week, they are working hard. But the thing i see is the brotherhood is back. You can tell they are having fun playing ball. Thats something that seems to have been missing over the last couple years. Team chemistry is better this year than it has been in idk how long.

Paintsville would be the 3 or 4. Either go to Pikeville or Williamsburg, again just a guess. Our depends on the winner of the other northern district.

The way I see it if the top 3 stay in and if is a very big word then Raceland would go to Pikeville in the semifinals but if Russellville gets beat out they could meet at Kroger but a lot of football to played out before any of that can happen

Raceland would play Brossart in the third round if they win and assuming brossart would win. That’s a big if because they just about lost to Paris in the first round. With all that being said nobody in Raceland is looking past Paintsville.

Correct. No one is looking past what we have to go up against Friday night. I was just curious as to scenarios. The RPI was supposed to give us the best 2 teams at the wnd of the year and i dont think thats been the case the last 2.

In 2019 it was Paintsville vs a legendary Pikeville team.

Y’all are getting to serious. Let’s get back to the trash talking…
Ya know yer a Raceland when ya hear the cowbells at the game, but get a hard on thinking there’s a new heard of goats coming to town.
