Bombers - big. The defending Ohio D1 champions are deep with seniors, have high level skill players, and are both big and quick. They can score in bunches too, putting up 38 unanswered points against a very good Elder team Friday. Up north, they're saying this may be the best St. Xavier team ever. Tall order for a young Trinity team.

• Ranking:
#16 nationally / #1 Ohio by CalPreps.

• Strength of schedule:
With the exception of GCL rival Elder all the St. X wins over Ohio schools have been against Top 25 teams regardless of class. Mishawaka Penn is a little down this year, but has been one of the best programs in Indiana for decades.

• Common opponent score comparisons are rarely useful, but (from this year):
Louisville St. X 35 Trinity 28
Louisville St. X 31 Elder 21
Cincinnati St. X 52 Elder 14

• Series history: Cinc. St. X leads 6-2.

Sounds like a team to watch on T.V.

Bombers by a billion. Coverdale even without the NFL level talent he has coaches circles around Cobb.

I said Trinity would get the upset in a private discussion and on Facebook...if that counts. What a game!
